Another first for me on here it would be a five star review for a plumber.

I usually try to go by word of mouth or referrals from friends, but as of a few weeks ago, was literally getting the same answer, ""I can't find anybody great, but if you find one, let me know"".

So I'm letting you all know!

Szlatko is that rare plumber who not only will take your calls to answer all the questions that would leave most plumbers rolling their eyes, but ALSO scheduled around my work schedule to deal with both non-emergent and emergent situation's in upgrading my kitchen.

As every homeowner can relate, what started out as being a simple ""Can we swap this out...?"" became a bit more involved when repair work was discovered and necessary.

He was reassuring, calm, kind, patient, and communicative throughout the entire 2 hours.

When he was done, he asked me to take a look, and showed me how to work the new faucet, and THEN made sure that I was happy.

We also addressed other plumbing issues around my home, and he graciously gave me full transparency as to what was necessary to make the repairs, was kind, and patient AGAIN with all my questions, and we agreed to move on to stage two upgrading one of the bathrooms.

Price-wise he is incredibly competitive with every other plumber you will get a quote from.
In fact, he was about $100 less than every other licensed and insured plumbers in the San Fernando Valley... which is astonishing because he does far better work than anyone I've had here in the 16 years in this location.

Not that this really matters in terms of quality of service, but he's also incredibly professional, and all of those commercials, poking fun at the ""hygiene"" of plumbers doesn't even exist in the same universe. He shows up seriously looking like he is ready for a photo shoot. 100% well groomed, almost like a plumber in a movie :-)
Again, completely irrelevant to the quality of the service, but since there's a lot of commercials that seem to focus on the ""Hygiene"" of plumbers, figured it was worth mentioning that this guy sets a gold standard in terms of a pleasant surprise when you open your door. =)
(And in reference to those commercials that talk about a ""smell good Plumber"" - he's got that locked-down, too :-)

He came back a week later to completely replace my 'filtration' system and was SO patient with the crazy new high-end system - it took quite a number of steps - and he carefully ensured everything was correct. He even checked in with me to ensure I was happy with all the placements and locations - and said it was me the homeowner who needed to be happy, since it's my home. SO so great. How many plumbers are willing to slow down to ensure you are that happy??? Even when he has tons of other jobs to get to?? Amazing.

Every single rave review you read about him is true. I cannot recommend highly enough, so whatever might be going on that has anything to do with PLUMBING-
-you'll want to call Szlatko first.

If it's not something that he can handle in a timely fashion, he will also be transparent - he is very much in demand, so you may need to wait a few days (potentially) if it's not a true emergency.

Again: cannot recommend highly enough.

My garbage disposal was leaking. I am very impressed with Zlatko and Mr. Pipe. He was highly professional, quick, knowledgeable, and very fair with his pricing. I had an emergency and called the right guy. My old water heater broke and was leaking everywhere. Zlatko was able to arrive with a replacement an hour after I called, and he brought the model I wanted. He was very professional. And his price was lower than other bids I got. Highly recommend.

Zlatko was awesome! He arrived earlier than originally estimated per my request as I had leak in my kitchen wall. He did a fantastic job as he had to remove my cabinet to get to the leak and he was able to replace after locating/fixing the leak just like before with Francisco's help. Zlatko was considerate to minimize the mess and to clean everything after he was done. He did such a great job that I asked for his help on our bathroom clog and he worked miracle to unclog our shower. Other plumbers could not provide a feasible solution but Zlatko worked his magic and we have a fully functioning bathroom. We can't THANK him enough for coming on short notice and for fixing everything! He also replace a part for our toilet free of charge.
