If you are looking for reliable and professional service look no further! I only have great things to say about Mr.Pipe! We needed a new boiler and I was lucky enough to meet Gary who answered all my questions and then some. He was knowledgeable but gave me just enough space to make an informed decision to go through them. He quoted me prices and was able to fit my needs and even got me more money off the boiler at the end! My expectations were then surpassed when we had some questions after the install and was very kind and patient. I will absolutely refer Mr.Pipe and Gary to friends and family in the area. Thank you so much for your excellent customer service!
Had an HVAC system installed in 2018 from mr.pipe through shells only. Had nothing but issues with the system from the start. They had to come back 6 times in the first 6 months to fix various issues. Some of the issues were fixed others continued to happen. Last summer the system stopped working twice. We had to shut it off for a few hours then turn it back on to work. This summer it started happening again but every few days. Called Mr.pipe to come out and they gave me an appointment for 2 weeks out. We have a 1 year old and couldn't wait weeks to have a/c. Had another company come to look at it and they told us it was installed by people that had no idea what they were doing. At least 15 things were pointed out that were incorrect. Called mr pipe last week to speak with owner/manager. Never got a call from him. Receptionist called me to schedule an appointment for 8-10am for today. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. absolutely awful way to run a business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They were a subcontractor and ruined my house. During the pressure test inspection of my new bathroom addition, they did not tighten the plug. It blew, flooding my 1st floor and shorted out my stove. They ran the pex tubing for the hot water heat, hot and cold water lines for this bathroom all together. So in the winter I have to run the cold water for 3-4 minutes before it gets cold. They improperly sized my A/C units. Installed a vent that went no where in my new additional living room and now the sheet rock taping started coming undone from the humidity. They splice the fan control wire with the A/C wires in the terminal block in the wall stat so I could not run the fan unless the A/C was calling for cooling. All ductwork connections were held together with duct tape. Duct tape!!! Which is now coming apart. Not to mention my attic looks like one of those pipe screen savers from the 90's. Years later and I am still fixing their mistakes. Oh and their techs came in high and smelling of pot. When I confronted the GC, his response was, ""well what do you expect, these are not union guys you are use to"". Like WTF does that mean. I would not let these guys unclog my toilet!!! I sh@t you not.
I used mr pipe for new central system and split unit for basement, what a mistake. Absolutely the worst company I've dealt with. Upon them roughing in the system they want 100% of the money with nothing actually working. When they finally fix all the problems ( after me telling them everything they're missing) they want to demand payment immediately and are extremely hostile about it. Customer service is terrible, professionalism is no existent. They're are many companies to do business with in the area do yourself a favor and stay away from Mr pipe. They are like the name sounds F***ing Everyone. They finally finished today and because I wasn't there with money in hand they proceeded to rip out everything they had just installed....
S P.We did a whole house renovation so Mr. Pipe did extensive work at our house (as our contractors used this plumbing service). They did piping for bathrooms, kitchen and radiant heating. In my many interactions with them I found their attitude was half assed and their finish was sloppy. The radiant heat wasn't working when we moved in and our contractors spent hours trying to figure out the issue. And two years later the ceiling on the floor below the master bath started leaking in several places. I hired another plumber who figured out the solder had come off a joint in the pipe so every time we used our shower heads the joint would drip water which eventually made its way to the ceiling on the first floor. Luckily we seemed to have found a decent plumber to fix Mr. Pipes sloppy work. Even luckier we have a closet on the left of the master bath shower so we didn't have to demolish tile to gain access to the pipes. But we had to made a sizeable hole in the closet wall that has to be repaired too. I'm glad I don't have to use Mr. Pipe again.
My refrigerator started gushing water out of the ice maker. The water was flowing down the fridge and onto the floor and also leaked onto the basement.
I called mr pipe, since they have an emergency line. I called and was told by a woman that answered that she would try to get someone. Meanwhile water is still gushing. After no response, I called back and was told by the same person that no one could come.
Why advertise 24/7 service when you don't have the means to provide it?? I had a serious situation situation which ccoukd have gotten way worse.
Open 24/7 bullshit!!!
W. C.Our sump pump stopped working and backed everything up. We contacted Mr. Pipe and were told that someone could come out around two in the afternoon. We specifically told them that we needed a sump pump. They didn't show up until five o'clock then looked at pump for less than a minute and told us that it's not working. NO KIDDING! We told THEM that! Then he stated that he couldn't do anything until the following day--after making us wait all day. He said they didn't have a sump pump available. We told them that's what we needed. We could have (SHOULD HAVE) called a reliable company. On top of that, he had the audacity to say that we would be charged a service fee. For what? Waiting around all day? We should charge them! No one mentioned anything about a service fee and now they're trying to get money out of us for nothing. No way that's happening.
My advice to you: Stay away from this unethical, disgraceful company. This is NOT how a good, decent reputable company does things.
Robert M.My hot water heater blew filling the basement with an inch and a half of water on Sunday. My friend recommended Mr. Pipe and I couldn't be happier. Rob gave me a great price on a new water heater and a boiler so I jumped at it. The team showed up Monday morning right when they said they would. In 5 hours they removed the old and installed my new boiler and hot water heater. Unbelievable service from the first call to his follow up on me. Do yourself a favor and call him when you need him. Highly recommended.
Beenish L.I bought a foreclosure house in Huntington and hired a local guy that ripped me off for thousandths of dollars. Mr. Pipe was recommended to me. We made and agreement and they in two days because I had no water installed a new tankless Hot water heater. They worked with my budget and did everything they could to make me comfortable. Not just that but because it was a foreclosure the pipes in the house kept bursting and then the drains were clogged. Rob and team did a great job in coming to help in Emergancy as well as when they said they would come. I'm sure the deal we made did not include everything else he ended up helping me with. Now it's been 3 months and I needed help with something else and his team is a my rescue. Please make sure you you hire the right person first time around. Don't make the mistake I made. And also not to mention how professional and readable the work is. I yet to have an issue with something they have fixed and a big house like mine with 5 baths something can always go wrong. So in short Reliable, responsible, workmanship they really have it all! #MRPIPE#1INTHEINDUSTRY. Thank you Rob, Tommy and John and team!!!
Thomas M.My fiance and I just recently closed on our first home and one of the first things we wanted to change was the heating/cooling system from oil to gas and to install central air throughout the house. We received a few estimates after doing some research online, but Mr Pipe was one of the few companies that could handle both the piping for the gas, and the duct work for the AC. From start to finish my fiance and I are both extremely happy with the service and professionalism of Mr. Pipe. Rob came to our house and provided us with great solutions for handling all of our heating and air conditioning needs, he quickly followed up with an estimate (you'd be surprised at how long some of the other companies took to get back to us), and quickly adjusted this estimate based on additional needs we had for the house (we wanted to add nest systems and vents for the bathrooms). When we called the office Lori was extremely helpful in relaying information to Rob and to processing the agreement we needed for the gas company to dig out the lines to the house. Rob mentioned that he could get the job done quickly, and he delivered on his word. After the first day I got home from work and was blown away by how much work had already been completed. The boiler they installed looked beautiful and the layout of the piping clearly showed that they take pride in their work. I feel very fortunate to have found a reliable plumber and will definitely be using them for all of my future plumbing needs.
