i recieved Roberts number from Karls Hardware, called Robert to give an estimate on work needed, he came and did that perfectly.

by the way he does charge $100 for his time, which to me seemed reasonable, seeing how gas is the way it is. he had five other appointments, from his statement, at $100 each appointment pretty good day driving around,giving estimates""which i do offer to folks to pay for their gas when they come out. but, trying to even find anyoen is the challenge

during the conversation he said ""as the handiman he prefers we pick up the materials,"" not a problem on our part

he left, emailed the estimate. what now is the problem, there was no materials list. sent him a messgae on Sunday, no response by Monday, sent another message on Tuesday . He finally responded with an materials list, items were grossly over counted and most items were missing from the list, big ticket items for the repairs

Well... looking back Robert did as he said he would: ""provide an estimate for a job.""

Having other guys come and ""provide estimates"" he was $600 higher and they did not charge the $100 to come out

Your choice if you want to pay for an estimate or not. I don't think this service is really needed on figuring out how much a job would cost. There are calculators online that do that for free.

Really wanted to get on here and write a glowing review of this small business. I have searched high and low for a good handyman service and contacted these folks and they responded happily and then never heard from them again!!! Too bad...as it would have been a good and easy gig with more in the future...

Sadly I have to update this review. I initially hired Robert to install a electrical panel and move a water heater. I told Robert that the panel had to be inspected by the county. I explained in detail what I needed and he assured me that he was the man for the job.

Unfortunately he was not, he lied about is ability to move the electrical panel and the panel FAILED inspection 3 times. He was not familiar at all with the requirements to pass inspection and I had to hire a real electrician.

I informed him each time the panel failed and he came back and still got it wrong. I told him because I had to hire someone else he should refund a portion of the $1800 he charged me. Additionally his quote included materials which I had to pay for. Needless to say I have not heard from him since. His card is misleading, he is definitely NOT an electrician and his electrical work will NOT pass inspection. He does MINOR electrical work, that's it and that's all.
