I highly recommend Edgar for any gas issues you may have. I had a gas leak and Edgar came out the next day to complete a detection test and fix the problem. He made sure to send me texts at the end of the day, with pictures and videos of the leaks. He came out a second day to perform another detection just to make sure the problem was solved. Edgar's response rate was incredibly fast. He came by for a free quote and gave me a very reasonable price on some custom work. We needed a cabinet removed and a dishwasher installed in its place.
They did the whole job in a few hours, they cleaned up after themselves, and they even tightened my kitchen sink faucet and replaced an old drain, charging me only for the parts, not the extra labor.
I wanted to wait a few days to see if the dishwasher kept working, and it's been perfect. It's truly changed my day to day life.

Edgar and his people are super organized, reliable and great at what they do. If you are like me, who have gone through so many bad contractors, you will totally understand why these qualities are so important. On top of that, their price is totally affordable.

We had to replace our kitchen sink. We had quotes from at least 5 handymen. Edgar's price was very competitive, but more importantly, he gave us a very good impression with his plumbing knowledge, which I did not get from others. That made it easy to make the selection.

During the process, he discovered that the new sink (which bought by us previously) was slightly bigger than the old one. He came up with a solution which required a bit more money, and he communicated very well with us. We felt confident to say ok and let him take control. Based on his suggestion, we also switched the old food disposal to a brand new one. The total price came to $695, which was still lower than the price others quoted me for just replacing the sink.

He also found out that we would have some gap on the tile wall that was against the sink, due to the different styles of the new and old. He then went to buy a triangle cylinder stick and glue it to the gap, which worked very well. He did not ask us to pay additional for this.

After they finished, I was amazed by how good the caulking job was. They also helped us clean and organize the bottom of the sink very well - better than all I ever did myself. And that was not it, after throwing away the trash, they also cut up the boxes and left them in our recycle bin!

I highly recommend Mr Flowright to everyone. If I have to mention a drawback, it'll be that they don't cover all the house maintenance work, otherwise I will definitely set his number on speed dial.

Edgar and Arthur to the rescue!

My hybrid electric water heater blew its lower heating element for the second time. Luckily, I had the part on-hand but I needed someone to install it - and soon, with a forecast of many cold, rainy days ahead.

The water heater broke at 6:30 pm on a Friday. I completed a Yelp request for quotes for the repair. Edgar was first to respond (almost immediately) said he was available the following day for a fair price. Edgar and Arthur arrived right on schedule at 3 pm the following day.

It wasn't an easy fix.

Due to the calcification of filament from the other heating events that failed (i.e. due to a bunch of crud at the bottom of the tank!) the spigot to empty the water heater was clogged.

I'd previously been told that the spigot would need to be removed and I'd have to flood the entire garage to get the water out. But these guys got creative. They tried to suck out the water by vacuum. Then tried to flush the blockage out with reverse pressure. (That worked for a second.) Finally, they emptied the water through the opening for the heating element and avoided flooding with a long pipe, which directed the water straight out to the street.

Given the challenges of the job, I was impressed what how little water hit the garage floor. They brushed and vacuumed up much of it so that I only had to wipe up some spots with a small towel later.

They even went the extra mile. Although they had other clients scheduled that day, they fully emptied the tank and tried to vacuum out as much crud as possible.

Huge thanks to Flowright Plumbing for an excellent job! They'll be my go-to plumbers from now on.
