Ed told me he also did central air units. Ed bought a bad unit from someone he knew and it was the wrong size condensor unit for the size coil I have. This was in 2014. In 2017 I had to replace the condensor because it was the wrong size for the coil and was putting out too much pressure and blew the condensor unit. I replaced the condensor unit even though it is the wrong size because at this time that is all i can afford. I have been told by a reputable company that it will happen again and who knows how long it will last and i will have to buy a whole new unit and coil that is the correct size. The worst! The man who was sent to our home was extremely unprofessional and horribly rude to me in front of my parents and children!
My parents had a flood in their basement, so we called Mr. Ed's. The worker sent did not come prepared, and was so uncouth, and unsanitary. I asked if he brought tarps to protect our flooring and carpeting, and if he had covers for his shoes because my parents had just gotten their carpets cleaned. He rudely, and very aggressively told me he did not have time for that because he had so many other calls. He then stormed out as he chuckled, saying that we will have to find someone else!
We were taken back and shocked! I am not sure why this man was so disrespectful, unprofessional, clearly uneducated, and of lower standing. His negative attitude must be apparent to others. There is no way anyone finds his behavior appropriate.
I called the owner, Ed, and he didn't want to hear what I had to say, and, instead, backed up his worker. This Ed character sounded exactly like the worker, and had the exact same attitude. My parents and I were completely in awe at the lack of professionalism. We will never call this company!
