Such a great experience. I couldn't be more impressed! Their staff was very attentive and understanding. I feel as if I was heard and understood, and my issues were fixed and others were prevented. Thank you Mr. Drippy!

My Issue: I own a Loft downtown Birmingham, AL. My daughter lives in the unit. Her 14-year-old Hot Water Heater was working a 35% capacity. I did a google search to find a company that had good ratings. I found Mr. Drippy Plumbing. Seemed like a good company. Promptness: The way Mr. Drippy works on the potential of needing a new hot water heater is them come to your residence to check your appliance. This is not my first rodeo on replacing Hot Water Heaters, A/C units, Appliances and more. I expected to get a time to visit in about a week. Instead, it was the next day. Add to that, they showed up on time. I was shocked. Be A Smart Consumer: I knew from the start, fixing my unit was going to be a segway to replacing it. That is way looking at my issue was not a charge. I also knew, once they saw the unit, the comparison pricing for fixing and new unit would be the sales presentation. Based on my location and needs, I researched the approximate pricing of the replacement, removal, parts and labor. My HOA has a rule to only use licensed and insured venders, or I would do what I used to do. Buy the unit, hire a non-licensed or insured vendor and same money. NOT THIS TIME. Who knows what can happen and the HOA would come back to me. Service Provided: I was presented the numbers and surprise, I selected to purchase a new unit. To my surprise, it was installed that same day. The installer was a true professional. The unit brand was American which is middle quality. The price was higher than what I expected however I paid a bit more because of the great communication I was given throughout the process. Sometimes, we have to give credit to a good company during this challenging times. Issue With the Installation: I live on the third floor with units on the second and first floors. It seems, when the water from my old water heater unit was disposed of, it made a leak in the pipes for the 1st floor unit. I was very upset at first. Then Mr. Drippy Sent in a manager, followed by a water repair company that same day. I called the day after to see what the situation was and the repair was in process. Throughout this situation, I communicated with all parties especially the HOA in great detail. I waited two weeks to write this review. It seems the issue is resolved. Conclusion: Hiring professionals that are licensed, insured and reviews mostly well makes a difference. Will you have to pay a little more, yes. It is worth it, yes. Would I do business with these folks again, yes. Simple as that.

They don't deserve the 1 star I had to give!! I called on a Tuesday for an appointment. They set me up for the following day with an open time of 8-10am. No one ever showed, so I called around 10:20am to check on my appt. Lauren (same lady from the initial setup) stated """"a worker called off for today sorry. We tried to call but we didn't get an answer"""". Not only did they not call nor leave a voicemail (what a professional would have done) she literally lied and only gave me an option for the following day. As if I could just take multiple days off for an unreliable company and a broken toilet! Please do not waste your time!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!

This team was really on top of things. They were early for both appointments and professional. They kept us informed of what was going on, status, and steps. They were prepared for any issues that had occurred and were quick to resolve. Nothing is more important than being informed, quality, and timeliness.

I had a leaking sewer pipe above my basement garage. Mr. Drippy showed in good time and replaced the cast iron pipe with pvc which was fine. They left. It began dripping again around the rubber gaskets that mr drippy installed. I called them back and was told the leak was not from their prior work. The technician didn't even attempt to stop the leak. I hired another plumber to fix the leak. He took the gasket that Mr Drippy installed loose, repositioned it and tightened it. It is not leaking.

Fantastic experience. I was told up front was diagnostic fee would be, time window for arrival, then was updated as team was on their way. They evaluated the issue, gave me options about how to fix it with prices, warranty information, expected part durability, etc., and were happy to re-explain things when I had questions (and allowed me time to think it over). They explained strengths and limitations of the items they installed. They fixed the issue promptly, and I was kept updated each step of the way. Would definitely call again with plumbing issues.

I contacted Mr. Drippy and was told that their hourly charge was $90 or $95 (I can't remember which). When the technician got here he immediately wanted to sell me a pressure regulator and a new water heater. Seeing how this visit was going, I had him do only the two jobs that had to be done: replace a very small section of a copper gas line going to my water heater that had gotten crimped ($285!) and replacing the leaky front hose bib (another $285!). I feel like I was very much misled. When I asked the technician about being charged by the hour he said that they hadn't charged by the hour in a long time. Quite different than what I was told by the receptionist (or whoever answers their phones). I feel the company misrepresented themselves. I also feel like I was grossly overcharged. The tech did check my gas logs for """"free."""" I won't be using them again nor would I recommend them.
