I have owned a home in Scituate since 1991. Never in all those years have I encountered such an unprofessional businessman. He overcharged me for the work he did in my home, looking for excuses to pad my bill.

Mike did a great job converting my heat and hot water to gas. They were quick and cleaned up the area very nicely. He also installed an instant hot water heater for our kitchen. It was taking 45 seconds and now we dont wait at all!

We used Mike twice at our home. The first experience was great, the second was an embarrassment to the the profession.

We had a water line leaking behind the wall in our 3 year old house. Mike showed up quickly and capped off the leaking water line. That was $200 dollars we would later find out.

Mike came back a couple of days later to tackle the leaking water line. Instead of a game plan and a scope to look inside the walls, he proceeded to cut three holes into the walls of our 3 year old home guessing where the leak might be. After the above exhibition, we decided to call it quits.

We never called MPD back to finish the job he started. I bought a scope, called a handyman and the leaking line was fixed.

Back to MPD, he happily billed us $438 for three holes. The grand total listed in our photo of the bill. And it was three holes, not two like he wrote down.

Mike was awesome, down to earth, and fair. ""No job too big or small"", he installed a new touch faucet for us today and was in an out within an hour (despite the awkward access to the sink undercarriage).

I just moved to Scituate and needed a plumber to do a few things. Mike from MPD came by the same day I called (how often does that occur) and gave me a very reasonable estimate. We shook hands, he showed up when he said he would and did a great job on everything and left the property spotless. In fact, he worked more quickly than he had estimated, so the bill he handed me at the end was less than the original estimate, which just does not happen often in my experience. I would not hesitate to recommend him, and will be calling him next time I need a plumber. Five stars.

Mike and Jamie took on a complicated install in an antique home and finished under the quote and in a few days. They were both extremely friendly and thorough as well as checked an existing gas pipe that was leaking which was installed by another plumber without my requesting.
I would not use another plumber in the south shore again! Thank you for the prompt response.

We hired MPD Plumbing to do a gas conversion at our house. I had gotten quotes from several different companies, and MPD was priced very competitively. We decided to go with them, and I'm so glad we did. They installed a new boiler, hot water heater, and kitchen range. Mike, Jamie, and the crew were always timely, professional, polite, and hard-working. We were on a tight schedule and they were able to get our job done on time and did an amazing job! They also cleaned up every day so the site was never messy and you would never know we were having major work done. I would highly recommend MPD to anyone and will definitely be using them again in the future!

What can I say...MPD plumbing did a fantastic job on my oil to gas conversion.
My boiler room has never been this organized. Great Job!!
