I called last Friday to book an appointment and was told i was scheduled for Tuesday ""afternoon"" and that the technician would call me when they were on their way. Around 330pm I called to check status and found out the person I'd talked to never set it up :(..... The staff quickly found someone, sent them the photos i'd provided and he was here in 30min! On top of that he (Jordon) was Super Sweet, Courteous, Careful and Quick!

Last week, I had a huge puddle in the cabinet under my kitchen sink. Oddly enough, this was the first time I've needed a plumber in 14 years (knock on wood), and when I went looking for someone, I was shocked at what plumbing costs, and at how long the wait can be for someone to come out. Wowza!

MP Plumbing's rates seem about the same as the other companies I called. The wait at the first places I called was weeks (or longer) but one of them recommended MP Plumbing. Even with MP, the wait was a week.

Joe from MP came out today, and I explained the ""symptoms"" of what was going on (water coming out of bottom of garbage disposal, but not the sides or the top or around the sink). He got to work super quickly to replace the garbage disposal. While he was under the sink, he noticed something that the people who had the house before me hadn't done to code (anchoring the drain hose from the dishwasher to the underside of the sink by the faucets to keep water from a stopped up sink from draining into the dishwasher), and fixed it.

The visit was $140 for the one hour, $60 for the time it took to drive from Clackamas to my place (argh, but I guess that time costs them, too), and the materials. After Joe stopped the clock, he took the time to answer a couple questions about other plumbing problems I am saving for another time (mine was his last call of the day).

Five stars because Joe was very courteous, obviously really knew what he was doing, and worked quickly. I feel confident that the problem has been solved. And if there are any issues, the work is guaranteed for a year.

Ryan was patient and dedicated in finding and then repairing a very tricky leak that we had in between floors--imagine that! He did excellent troubleshooting and problem solving. He was well equipped and found creative ways to get his tools into very tight and awkward spaces. He's our hero!

They were the only company able to get someone out day-of for a plumbing emergency. We were referred to them by a friend working for another plumbing company. Michael was super helpful, nice, tolerant of our pain in the butt dogs, honest, kind to our kids, etc.

This is the third time I've used MP Plumbing over a 3 year period, for minor repairs on old plumbing or installing new plumbing fixtures. This time I had the pleasure of getting Joe R. as my plumber. Joe's work and customer service is solid - efficient, kind, knowledgeable, and kept me in the loop at each stage. I've always had great experience scheduling and the staff is very friendly. Their work is excellent quality and I absolutely recommend MP Plumbing and will continue to use them.

Had a faucet refuse to turn off late last night and I had to turn off the water at the heater. Called MP Plumbing this morning. I received a visit around noon and the problem was quickly fixed. Another issue with an outside faucet was attended to . . . all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. I'm happy. My water is available again. I am calling these guys again soon to deal with another problem. And the cost was reasonable, in my opinion. I have used this company before and I have never been dissatisfied.

Terrible experience with this company, not with the work itself but the scheduling. We recently bought a new house and wanted to replace the electric stove with gas, which required running a gas line into the kitchen from the garage. Someone came out within a few days to scope out the work and put together an estimate, and said the office would call us soon to schedule the work. We waited a few days, never heard anything, called back, left messages, finally when we were able to schedule the work it was over a week out. Finally they sent Ryan out to do the initial work. He was great, very professional and friendly, did great work. He said they would call the City inspector and then we had to call back after the inspection was complete to schedule the completion of the hook-up. The inspector came right out the following morning, after which we immediately called the office back for the final appointment. They said the earliest available time was another five days later. We waited until that day and when we hadn't heard anything after a couple of hours we called the office, who said the appointment wasn't on the schedule at all. If we hadn't called, we would have waited all day for nothing. They finally did get Ryan back out to finish the job that day. Then when it came time to pay the bill, it was much more expensive than we had anticipated, at which point we realized we had never even received the bid. Of course that was partly our fault for not asking for it, but it also shows poor follow-through by the company. Because of all this, we spent three weeks in our new house without a stove or oven.
