It's terrific to have a place locally stocking things one can usually only get online. Often very busy, it's still possible to send a voicemail to James, with the part number you need, and he will get back to you as soon as he can to let you know if they have it, or where you can go if they don't stock it. Sometimes I have thought, ""this thing is almost 40 years old...nobody will have this part..."" only to be happily surprised Mountainland not only has it, but it's a high-quality part-not something from a foreign country using questionable metals that won't stand up under pressure.
The only warning I will give you is, if you go there in person, make sure you know what you need, and put blinders on, or you may leave with a carload of stuff and five new projects you never even knew you wanted to build. A new kitchen sink? How about a water fountain for the kids in the back yard? What a great idea!
