Mountaineer Mechanical was founded in 2002 in Little Hocking, Ohio. It evolved from a small family business with just a few employees to 12 employees by 2008. In 2010, a new office building and warehouse were established. In 2015, they opened a new location in Parkersburg, West Virginia, with 30 employees dedicated to heating, cooling, plumbing, and commercial restaurant equipment.

Eddie, who grew up in the Little Hocking area like many before him, had a dream to start his own business from a young age. With a father who was a plumber, he learned essential skills that would serve him well in the future. He pursued further education in computers, refrigeration, and commercial restaurant equipment. His work experience included roles in the Electricians Union and Hobart Sales and Service. Eventually, he relocated to Minneapolis, MN, to work for Hobart Corporate, accompanied by his wife and young child. After a year in Minneapolis and finding out he was expecting another child, he realized it was time to go back to Little Hocking and establish his own business. With the support of dedicated employees and loyal customers, he has built a thriving business with multiple locations.
