Established in 2002 in Little Hocking, Ohio, Mountaineer Mechanical has grown significantly. Starting as a small family business with only a few staff members, it expanded to 12 employees by 2008. A new office and warehouse were constructed in 2010. In 2015, an additional location opened in Parkersburg, West Virginia, employing 30 staff members and specializing in heating, cooling, plumbing, and commercial restaurant equipment.

Eddie, who grew up in the Little Hocking area like many before him, had a dream to start his own business from a young age. With a father who was a plumber, he learned essential skills that would serve him well in the future. He expanded his knowledge by studying computers, refrigeration, and commercial restaurant equipment. His work experience included roles in the Electricians Union and Hobart Sales and Service. He eventually moved to Minneapolis, MN, to join Hobart Corporate, bringing his wife and small child along. After a year away from his hometown and learning he was going to be a father again, he decided it was time to return to Little Hocking and launch his own business. With the help of great staff and loyal clients, he has created a flourishing business with multiple locations.
