Established in 2002 in Little Hocking, Ohio, Mountaineer Mechanical has grown significantly. The company grew from a modest family-owned operation with a handful of employees to 12 by 2008. In 2010, a new office building and warehouse were established. In 2015, they opened a new location in Parkersburg, West Virginia, with 30 employees dedicated to heating, cooling, plumbing, and commercial restaurant equipment.

Eddie, who grew up in the Little Hocking area like many before him, aspired to start his own business from a young age. His father, a plumber, imparted crucial skills that would aid him throughout his career. He pursued further education in computers, refrigeration, and commercial restaurant equipment. His work experience included roles in the Electricians Union and Hobart Sales and Service. He eventually moved to Minneapolis, MN, to join Hobart Corporate, bringing his wife and small child along. After a year in Minneapolis and finding out he was expecting another child, he realized it was time to go back to Little Hocking and establish his own business. With the support of dedicated employees and loyal customers, he has built a thriving business with multiple locations.
