Otto and team did a beautiful job on the bathroom remodel in our home in Clayton. We were a bit slow in getting things going after our initial design, and he was very patient as we decided on the specific materials. In fact, Otto helped us pick out some of the materials and pointed us towards where we could find the best pricing.

Great partners throughout the process of our job. Always on time, and let area super clean each day. Bathroom turned out great without a bit of stress.

Motto Construction recently finished with the complete remodel of our kitchen and bathroom, as well as the updating of a good deal of our house. We purchased Anderson windows from Home Depot and Otto and Laci installed and cased them for us. We needed some of our floors leveled and they did an expert job. We are extremely happy with all of the worked they performed and are receiving many positive comments about our home. All of the work was done in a professional and timely manner. They are happy, friendly and great to have in the house. And, they vacuum and tidy up each day before departing!!

Our home is thirty years old, thus, as we began the demo, we naturally ran into some unexpected situations. No problem...they are expert problem solvers, are very flexible, and can tackle everything!! Otto is a good communicator and makes himself available to you. He seeks to gain a clear understanding of what one wants and strives to achieve that.

Since I was present most days, I can tell you that you will not find two guys that work harder, each day, than Motto Construction. With the exception of a lunch, they work non-stop all day. We will recommend them to our friends/family, and will use them again for any work we need done. They are the best!!!

We had a fantastic experience with Motto Construction. They have:
1. Completely rebuilt our master bath. From the guidance provided during the design and materials ordering phase, to the care taken to ensure all was up to code and the wonderful quality throughout, we are just delighted. It is everything we wanted!
2. Rebuilt our back fence, replacing the shoddy materials selected by our original home builders with those made to last.
3. Made repairs after a tree limb fell and damaged that same fence.
4. Provided money saving advice for future repairs and enhancements (really taking the time to talk through these with us).

Otto and his crew just completed replacing my upper deck and railing due to dry rot. Working on the 2nd story is no easy job. He was prompt with his estimate and arrived on time for the job. Can't say enough good things about Motto Construction. Highly recommended.

We recently had some work done by Motto Construction. We had the entire downstairs tile floors removed and new porcelain tile laid down (kitchen, bathroom, hallway and entryway). We ran into a few obstacles along the way-floor underneath old flooring was uneven and had to be sanded down, which delayed the project by a few days (in no way was this any fault of Otto and his crew). Throughout the entire process, they handled everything with skill and professionalism. Although they finished a few days past the original finish date (due to the unforeseen obstacles mentioned above), we were very impressed by the work done and have gotten many wonderful compliments on our new floor. Overall, very clean, organized and a great deal pricewise. We will definitely use Motto Construction for more future projects.

Motto Construction replaced two wooden chimney chases on the roof of our 75 year old house. They were timely, professional, and when the job turned into something that also required roof repair, worked closely with the roof folks to get the job done. I will use them again. We have used this company for several jobs over the years. They installed a tankless water heater, repaired the roof, restored an old redwood deck and recently installed a new deck on the other side of the yard. They are really professional. They have great tools for any job. They don't waste any time and are very thorough. Their prices are reasonable especially considering the great job they do. I won't hesitate to call them for any future needs and recommend them highly.

A tale of two Ottos.Hired to do two bathrooms.The first was completed with great workmanship and detail.The second was done in record setting time with much less attention to detail and without full completion.Do not use his electrician.Does not believe in drop clothes or damage to anything near his work area.Overall the price was right but as the saying goes ""you get what you pay for"".
