Unreliable and Unprofessional. Tim is a major flake. Made two different appointments to fix my hot water heater and he didn't show on either. No reason, no call to reschedule, no apology nothing. I ended up having to call a different plumber after 4 days with no hot water.
I used Mortimer to install a water heater and fix some pipes five or six years back and they were fine then. Not sure what caused the downward slide, but I see a number of other reviews with the same problem going back a way.

Good Plumbers and most reasonable priced around. Tim is a really nice, freindly guy that knows what hes doing. Old school--Local family business.

My heater went out before Thanksgiving made an appointment for the day before Turkey day... I even called to confirm in the morning.. No one showed No one called... Im a business owner and I understand that sometimes things come up but didnt even have the professionalism to call and let your customer know... now its 4 days later and still nothing. Not a good experience I should of called someone else.

I'd give negative stars if I could!
Took a few weeks to get travel time authorization from First American Home Warranty, finally got it and had Tim from Mortimer texting me that he could be at my home in Whitethorn on Friday, maybe even Thursday this week. It's now Saturday and Tim is a no show, worse over, he can't be bothered to contact me to reschedule or return my numerous inquiries as to whats going on.
If Tim is the owner, he should know better how to communicate with prospective clients.

I called at about 830 in the morning for a clogged drain and it was fixed by 230 same day. Tim, the owner, called out to his crew who showed up and took care of business and left the tub where the clog was as clean as they found it.

I called Mortimer to check on the water heater noise the tenant was concerned about in a rental. They arrived within a few hours and diagnosed the problem as not really an issue that needed any work but a normal noise. I really appreciate the quick response and honesty. They are also family owned and operated which is very important to me to support. They are going on my list of good people to do business with!

Tim and crew are terrific.
Found and used him when I first purchased my home in 2010. He did some fix-it jobs expertly.
Over the years he and/or his crew have always solved any plumbing problems.
Just recently I discovered a proficient leak in the water line leading to my washing machine. I called. They responded within 30 minutes. Repair done. Problem solved.
I have received nothing but timely and professional work from Mortimer Plumbing. They are my go-to plumbers.
Great guy. Crew is terrific as well.
Highly recommend.

I'm not really sure how this company reacts to emergencies but I can tell you they do not communicate well or with integrity. We live in Mckinleyville and we wanted to use a local tradesman but he did not call or show up when scheduled multiple times. I understand a schedule snafus once in a while but truly he was just negligent and unresponsive. It's a shame since we are new to our area and we love establishing good relationships with our service providers. Opportunity squandered.

I had an active leak and had to shut off the water to the whole house to stop it. I'd call that an emergency - no water. Tim called me right back after I left a message and got me scheduled immediately. A quick and successful repair. And this when everyone else I contacted couldn't get me in until a day or two later. Mortimer Plumbing will be my first call if I ever need a plumber again.

My family attempted to establish a time and date for an estimate on a construction project. I called and left a message and did not receive a call back for two days. When it was returned it was only to say, I am not in my office I will call you tomorrow morning... so I waited... and waited... two days later another call with an apology and excuse that he was sooo busy but would call the next night to schedule the appointment. So again, I waited. Three days later another call another apology and another rescheduling of a phone call.
I gave up and went to another group. Glad I did. I have found out he has done bad work for many of my friends in the neighborhood.
