Samantha M.Found Morry on Yelp when looking for a Handyman in the area! We just bought our home in Cleveland Heights and needed help putting a light fixture up. I called Morry and he confirmed he does do that service, BUT he wasn't going to be working in homes for a few more weeks due to Covid-19. Totally understood that!! What he did next was INCREDIBLE. He told me to send pictures of our light fixture and any issues we were having and he would call me back to walk me through what he thinks we could do to fix it on our own. What an amazing human being, right!?
He must have spent at least 30 minutes out of his day talking to me/texting me walking me through the light fixture and what I should be looking for when hanging it in our ceiling. I am very impressed with his gesture to help without even being hired. So, even though we didn't technically have him here for handyman services, he helped us with the problem and we will definitely be hiring him in the future. Thanks so much, Morry!!

I called Morry in the middle of a winter storm and asked him if he would come out to look at our electrical. We lost half of our power but not all of it and all heat. Once I described the problem, he told me a few things to check while on the phone with him. He told us it sounded like an issue with a partial power outage. He was correct! He was extremely friendly, helpful and kind. I highly recommend him and his services.
First, and the positive, he did fix what I needed him for competently and well. However, I won't use him again, as I have a beef about his billing. He charges a certain amount for the first hour and by the half hour after that. Fine. However, I had work that took him 45-50 minutes and he charged for an hour and a half. First, as far as I can tell, he just flatly lied on the form. He wrote that he started work at 25 after the hour. However, I looked at the program I had been working in before he arrived later to confirm, and I had clocked out at 33 after, and that was still several minutes before he arrived. Even that wouldn't have pushed me over the one hour mark, but apparently he also charges for chatting about my dog and the items in my home and going back out to the van to get his tablet, and slowly filling out paperwork. In general, it was either unprofessional/careless or intentionally sleezy. I don't know which.
