I don't often write reviews but this experience warrants a review. My daughter called M & H because my son was unable to turn his shower off. The lady who answered the call (Laura) was very nice. She said she would see what she could do. After about 2 hours of the shower running, Fred arrived. Also, very nice. He turned off the water right away, capped the shower head and told us it was not a big deal, just a cartridge that needed to be replaced, that he would go out to his truck and see if he had the part. Sure enough he did not have the part so he left and promised to be back that Monday to replace the cartridge. The whole visit was approximately 15 minutes.
I called on Monday there was no answer. I called again the next day and spoke to Fred who promised to come out later that same week. He did come, all the while assuring me the job was ""not a big deal"". He uncapped the shower, replaced the cartridge and off he went. Time in my house maybe 15 minutes max. Total time to complete the job 30 minutes.
About 3 weeks later, I received a bill for $383.00. I have owned my home for 18 years. I have lived in SP for 19 years. I have worked with many plumbers. I called immediately to speak with someone. I explained that the price they had quoted me for the cartridge alone ($84.00) was more than 2 times what I paid for the entire shower unit ($39.99) and that if Fred had informed me prior about the pricing, I would have refused the work and just had someone install a new shower, that the numbers did not make sense. The woman I spoke to was extremely rude and condescending, she told me the company has been in business for many years and that providing customers with work orders, work agreements or even discussing prices was just not their practice. After quite a bit of resistance she said she would talk to the owner and call back. Not once did she tell me that Fred was the owner!
I received no call back. But about 2 weeks later I did receive an overdue notice with bright yellow writing ordering me to pay my bill. So I called the company a third time only to be put on hold for 20 minutes. And then I was told the same thing by a horrible lady who eventually answered the phone. That they have been in South Pas for many years and that essentially they know what they are doing and that I should just pay my bill right away. I explained again and told her this felt like a case of price gauging. She told me Fred would call me back because she was not in a position to discuss pricing. It's been about 6 weeks. I've received no call back. There are better plumbers out there!

I love this business! They have come to our rescue several times when our A/C has gone out on the hottest day of the year (two years in a row!) and when our heat failed us in the coldest part of winter. Other heating and air people told us it would take them a week to come out for the repair, while Morrow and Holman has always been able to do a same day or next day visit and fix. I think their prices are very reasonable as well. A+

I can't recommend Morrow and Holman. They didn't come as they said they would or return my calls. Their representative had taken a quick look at my water heater and said it needed to be fixed. . (He was already on the property and dropped by with no paperwork). One of the managers called later and said he would come by Monday. I called Monday and left a message to ask when but no response. I hired another plumber to fix it and forgot about it. A while later they sent me a bill for $110 as if they had provided any real service. After the bill came I called them and asked them to reduce the bill as they had never provided any real service and not returned calls. The woman that I spoke to said after quite a bit of resistance that she would talk to the owner and call back. That was 3 weeks ago. There are better plumbers out there.

This company & their staff are top notch in customer service & work quality. I've used them for years and continue to be impressed. From the initial call in to make the appointment to the service provided- I would say they are excellent in every way!
Fred was especially helpful in resolving an issue I had with my sink & dishwasher.
They really know what they are doing & are very efficient in resolving the issues. They were on time & extremely professional.
I highly recommend them!

I don't know why this is only two and a half stars but Fred is probably the best plummer and and A/C tech I have ever seen. He is an incredibly intuitive troubleshooter with a ton of experience. Always ask for Fred.

Zero stars. Just had the most horrible experience ever with this company. I called at 8 am this morning about our broken air conditioner. The person in the office said that we might be able to get service in the morning but she wasn't sure. She would call to let us know. She never did. Without a call, we went to the beach for my son's annual beach trip. She said ok and to call on our way home. We did. At 2:30. She said she'd tell the technician. She called 2 and a half hours later to say they weren't coming. She then proceeded to berate me for take the time to go to the beach with my family. The house is currently 92 degrees and I have an 8 week old baby. She didn't seem bothered by any of this. Just that the technician was tired. I would steer very clear of this business. They don't have time for common human decency. I've never been treated less humanely.

Scott came over to the house of a friend of mine and fixed several problems. Everything works perfectly and the bill was better than reasonable.

Have had good service in the past. But have had new plumbing projects and they have been very unresponsive.
Have made multiple correspondences and have had Morrow & Holman Plumbing in to quote projects twice since mid April and have yet to receive quotations.
I have left messages, emailed & called Joan is friendly but have not been quoted for any work yet delaying project.

Beware! This company does not give accurate pricing. It's a small job but hits you with a big bill after the job is done without even discussing with the owner first.

I do not recommend this plumber. Very unresponsive and unprofessional. They charged us more than double what they quoted, wanted to charge us 90 minutes of travel time (total, for two trucks) when they are about 5 miles away from my house, sent plumbers that blamed the grossly underestimated quote by the receptionist because ""she's a girl."" We had to have another plumber come in and fix what they refused to fix because they installed the toilet wrong. I have never had such a bad experience with a business.
