Ronnie I.This company behavior is almost criminal. I had an obvious leak on a connection at the PVC main sewer line going to the street level intake. It should have been and easy fix by replacing the connection from where it was leaking. This shady plumber who looked like he just got out of prison was sent over and he quoted me an outrageous price of several thousand dollars because he said he ""might"" need to dig into the ground where it connects to the sewer mainline and would only do the project by the ""job"". I sent him on his way and had the problem fixed by a reputable plumber for around $200. READ all the 1* reviews this operation should be run out of town.
A V.Terrible experience. The plumber showed up 3 hours late, refused to do one of the things we needed and unwilling to do the other simple thing. Don't waste your time. Oh and the person in the office did not properly relay the requests to the plumber which is always frustrating.
Do not trust these plumbers! Very bad experience with them. A guy came out and bid a job at $1,240 to replace 35 feet of gas line. I agreed. He stated the job at 9am on Monday morning. After 3 hours of work, he said he ""used up all of the $1,240 and it's now going to cost you more"" and he refused even tell me how much more. I tried to contact the owner of the company who NEVER EVEN RETURNED MY CALL. Finally, after I complained to the worker again, the worker told me it would be $600 more. With my yard torn up, the gas shut off, and old gas line removed, I agreed to pay the additional amount because we had no heat and no hot water and the evening temperature was forecasted at 44 degrees.
As he drove away, I noticed a sign on the truck that said ""senior citizen discounts."" I'm 71 years old, with arthritis, open heart surgery, osteoporosis, and I survive on a fixed income. My recommendation to you is do not trust their bids, in fact , don't even call them!
If I could give this company zero stars, I would.
Ever since these guys installed a hot water heater 2 years ago, I have been experiencing a mysterious flow restriction two cold water outlet points nearest the heater. I tolerated it for a long time, partly in the hope that it would eventually resolve itself, and partly because I did not totally trust their ability to resolve the issue. I finally decided to have them come out to take a look and my worst fears were realized.
With zero troubleshooting, the guy replaced two perfectly good angle valves and fill lines, charging me $240 for his non-solution. I should have been smart enough to stop him after it became obvious following the first replacement that it was not going to fix the problem. Afterwards he just shrugged his shoulders and said ""you got a problem"", and told me we need to tear the wall down and replace the line, which I'm not going to let him do since he obviously doesn't know what he's doing or what is going on.
Not only is my problem not fixed, but I am actually worse off after his visit. After we turned the water back on, the flow from these two points has now LOWERED to a mere trickle, rendering one of my toilets useless. He also somehow CREATED a leak on the HOT water line under the sink, a part of the plumbing he supposedly didn't even work on. I had to fix that myself after he left.
Worst plumbing company I've ever worked with. They have been out twice (shame on me for giving them a second chance). The first time, the guy quoted varying prices for an estimate to come out again - very shady, and he did a lot of damage to my walls. I had to re stucco and paint. The owner, Chad did defended the guy and said ""it shouldn't cost you much to fix it"". Most recently, another guy came out and scratched my brand new marble counter tops. It cost me $300 to repair the damage. Chad again, refused to take any responsibility, instead claiming that it must have already been there. I find that this company has poor integrity, and will definitely not be using them again.
Rude owner, nice worker, but even the nice worker left my house with previously functioning pipe now leaking. Another worker had to return next day for an additional fee to repair the pipe that hadn't been leaking before their arrival. Plenty of good plumbers in town to call next time...
I used Morro Bay Plumbing to take care of a bathroom sink that would not drain properly. I was quoted a price of $150.00. I ended up paying over $300.00 and the sink still did not drain. The plumber who serviced my house was rude, incompetent, and unprofessional. I had to call another plumbing company who resolved the problem for half of what Morro Bay charged. l strongly urge anyone who reads this post not to employ or use the services of Morro Bay Plumbing.
We arrived home to a plumbing nightmare. Both the shower and toilet were backing up. To make matters worse, it was a Saturday and everyone we called told us we had to wait until Monday. Lucky for us, we got ahold of Morro Bay Plumbing. The young lady who answered the phone was both polite and professional. She said two men would be out after they finished a job on which they were currently working. The men showed up and assessed correctly we had a main line sewage block. They both worked hard to get the problem fixed but couldn't finish the job that day. They promised to return on Monday and finish it. True to their word, they arrived first thing Monday morning and worked all day to trench, remove and replace the line. At one point, five men were working nonstop to get the repair finished. In fact, Chad (the owner) showed up and climbed into the trench and began to dig himself. They replaced the line, put all the dirt back and even replaced the decorative rock. They left the site pristine. Amazing given the amount of earth they moved! Regarding price, I would say they are more than fair. Given the size of the job, they easily could have charged double what they did, and I would have paid it without complaint. To Morro Bay Plumbing I say a job well done!! We are back in the house and everything is in order. If you need the job done right, and done right now, you must call Morro Bay Plumbing. I cannot thank them enough. You guys are life savers!
I've used them for all my plumbing problems for the past 6 years. They always arrive when they say they will, and the service is prompt and friendly, and prices are fair.
Melanie V.Second day in our new home and had a plumbing disaster. The receptionist was great and had a crew out within the hour. They cleared our problem and gave ua economical solutions for a permanent repair.
