Beth J.As of July 2023, Morris Plumbing & Heating, LLC charges $75.00 just to come out to your residence as a trip charge. Rather than including service line items into the overall hourly service rate of $120.00 an hour, they charge discrete line items such as a camera in the line in addition to the hourly rate without notifying the customer that such a specific service item will be an additional charge or even asking the customer if they would like the additionally charged service item performed in the first place. They charge a 3% convenience fee for expedient credit card payments, as well. Classic, textbook example of maximizing and deflecting costs to the the customer. Unscrupulous lack of integrity. Avoid. Alternatively, Liberty Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC does not have a $75.00 trip charge and notified us of every possible additional charge on top of the hourly market rate of service and asked for customer consent on such additional service items. They went out of their way to find the materials we specified, were honest in their assessment of the problem and tried to maintain timely services despite changes to materials. Go with Liberty, as their 5-star rating is earned.
