I used Morgan Construction of Poway to do my main bathroom remodeling. My place is over 30+ years old and the bathroom had never been touched, so the floor was shot, the toilet would no longer tighten up to its base and the sink and cabinets needed to be replaced. Shawn Morgan gave me a bid along with a time frame for completion and came in on time and under the bid I was given. I now have a nice new sink with a great oak cabinet, a new sub floor with beautiful stone tile that really makes the bathroom look new and modern. I would definitely recommend Morgan Construction of Poway for any work needed to your house or business.

Buyer beware.... This guy does horrible work inside and out. He works ridiculously short days where he accomplishes very little and then tries to rush your project and does really crappy work. Many things he told me he would subcontract out (stucco) he ended up doing a really poor job himself because the bottom line is that he isn't very good, and he is extremely lazy and unprepared. I gave him several months to come and fix the shoddy work he did. He never showed so Shawn Morgan, if you are reading this, dont worry about it. I have paid true professionals to come and fix the bad work that you have done. For potential customers, consider yourself warned... This guy is awful

After attempting a project on my home with little success, I hired Shawn to GET IT DONE. He is a great person and very thorough with his work. Completed (and started) the job on time as stated. Pleased that he took the time to put floor protection down, when needed, and cleaned up at the end of EACH DAY worked!

Work completed: install pre-hung interior doors and mirror closets (closets required a little bit of demo work before standard-sized doors could fit).

Shawn was a referral which made me even happier. Will definitely contact him again for future projects.

Before we rented out our house, we hired Shawn Morgan to renovate a bathroom, re-tile 2 other bathrooms, and a variety of other projects. We appreciated his ability to work around our schedules, and get the work done quickly. He did a great job, was always very punctual, and kept us on budget, on time. All and all we were very happy.

When it later became time to sell, the house was in great shape, and we got top dollar - thanks to Shawn.

We first met Shawn when we needed a sub-floor replaced so that we could put our house on the market. Due to the job having been done incorrectly, it required complete removal of the floor and installation of a new one. Shawn completed the job quickly and the floor no longer squeaked and sunk.
Then we hired Shawn to do a bathroom remodel. He handled everything, the carpentry, the plumbing, the electrical, paint, tile, etc. Shawn is a master craftsman and very detail oriented. He can do everything which means less people in the house, and his prices are very fair. We will contact Shawn anytime we have project.

Shawn remodeled my bathroom and did a phenomenal job, which wasn't easy, because the space is very tight and once the demolition started and the walls got opened up, my grand plans and designs needed to be altered due to some constraints involving stud and electrical placement.

He did everything on the up-and-up, dealt with getting all the required permits, gave me some good ideas for workarounds when my initial idea would have run me over budget, worked with me to keep me on track, did a great job with some really tricky 1""x1"" mosiac decorative tile in the shower, cleaned up every day before he left, respected my home, stayed in constant communication and was everything you'd expect and want from a contractor. He's trustworthy and reasonable. Highly recommended.

A few years ago, Shawn Morgan worked on my kitchen remodel (total gut job) and I was impressed by not only his construction expertise, but his attention to detail, practical suggestions, and reliability.

He continued to do smaller jobs for me in the intervening years and, when I had a major bathroom flood a month ago (another gut job) I called on hm to redo the bath/shower. He gave a fair estimate, stayed on budget, finished the (beautiful) job in a timely manner, and shared his very good ideas.

His reliability, communication, work ethic, and honesty are above reproach and his skills are superior. I will continue to use him for big and smaller projects and look to him as a fine example of what a professional contractor *should* be.
