I have used Moore Plumbing for a number of years. When he gives you a time that he will show up, that's when he shows up. Too many of my service providers cannot give me a time nor will they call and tell me that they are on their previous job and they're running late. I'm willing to pay for good service.
Kerry M.I'm posting this review on behalf of my mother, who is in her 80's. She has used Moore's Plumbing (in Franklin, NC) for well over a decade now. They have been out to her home multiple times (at least 10 times over the same amount of years), primarily to address leaks in older copper piping.
The last visit Moore's Plumbing made to my mother's house was approximately 5 weeks ago, again to repair a leaky pipe. The repair was made, Moore's Plumbing was paid (almost double the amount from the previous year for the same amount of time/materials spent on the leak), and just a few days later, my mother heard water gushing under the floor in the same area the repair was done. It was another terrible leak (equivalent to a wide-open faucet), and Moore's Plumbing was once again called. Only this time, unbeknownst to my mother, they'd decided to completely ghost her. This was pretty obvious after a month's worth of phone calls and numerous messages being left that were completely ignored. I'm shocked by the lack of professionalism shown by Moore's Plumbing in this situation. To leave an elderly woman with a terrible leak just hanging. For shame. It would have taken 2 minutes of your time to answer, or return, a phone call. And at the very least let my mother know that you no longer wished to provide her service. Then she could have moved on and hired someone else to repair the leak. A leak that had been flowing for weeks as she waited to hear back. Terrible, terrible way to treat a long-time customer, or any customer for that matter. My family will never give our business to Moore's Plumbing again. DO BETTER.
First-time service call with this plumbing company - easy to make an appointment with a pro that had expertise to understand my plumbing issues before arrival which was nice for a change - arrived on time - fixed everything - was clean, respectful, and helpful plus let me know what he was doing as he was doing it which I value. Definitely recommend.
During a simple hot water heater replacement Moore Plumbing broke a main water line and flooded my house. It's been a month and still no reimbursement for $10,000 of water damage.
