Moody did a good job fixing our problem, but since he came our water is cold and takes forever to get warm...he came back once (free of charge) to solve the new issue that water now takes forever to get warm but he didnt actually solve the problem. and now he wont come back unless he charges me. so he basically wont stand by his work and trying to charge us more.

all i want his for him to see why the water is cold ever since he came.

These guys are awesome and responsive. Joe sent Martin over and man he knew his stuff when we had to open up a wall and replace a hose bibb that froze. He replace the whole pipe, added a shut off valve, improved on its original design, and was fast too!

Can't recommend them enough. Rare to find good plumbers like this in Chicago.

The owner Joe Moody went above and beyond to make sure I was assisted in my home. He unclogged my drain, gave me great advice, and now his company is fixing my faucet in my sink. Due to personal family matters my schedule was hectic. So hectic that I completely forgot my appointment. Joe was so kind about the situation and even rescheduled the next day. I honestly cannot say enough positive things about Moody Plumbing. The reviews speak for themselves. If you want affordable services with kind and professional plumbers then this is the place to go!

Awesome customer service! We're new homeowners who had a water pipe bust in our crawlspace in -10 degree weather with water shooting everywhere and a shutoff valve that wouldn't close. I called 5 different places and only a few got back to me. Moody weren't the first to return my call, but the reason I'm giving 5 stars is they were the only ones really interested in helping me with my problem. They asked me about the issue and offered different advice over the phone to help stop it. He even gave me his cell # so I could send pics so he could help further. Luckily, his advice worked and the waterfall stopped. This is how you build a long term clients. We are definitely going to use them for any of our future plumbing needs!

It went very well. He arrived a little after the four hour window, but we are in the middle of the snowiest February in history, so everything is running a bit behind schedule. Tom could not have been more professional in diagnosing the problem, solving it, and verifying the solution. He also gave us some good tips on how to maintain and improve our system, and did so without pressuring us to buy something.

I'd like to add my glowing praise for Joe, even though I'm technically not a customer of Moody Plumbing. That's right, I'm not. I called Moody when I started hearing strange noises coming from (I thought) the pipe in the bathroom wall. Joe asked a bunch of questions and offered a couple of simple troubleshooting tips, saying that he'd be happy to schedule an appointment if I really needed him to come over. I did as he suggested and he was right about the noise, which turned out to be a faulty fill valve on the toilet, and I was able to replace it myself. Joe was prompt, pleasant and knowledgeable, and even though he passed on an easy job, he made a believer out of me. No way I'm ever calling anyone else the next time I need a plumber. Thanks Joe!

I used Moody Plumbing to replace 3 bathroom faucets. They were able to give me an accurate estimate of the cost of the work via email, which involved me taking pictures of the pipes under the sink. Angel, the plumber who did the work, showed up at the scheduled time. He was very professional and did a nice job cleaning up after himself. With a couple of the sinks, he noticed a small amount of leaking and he went and fixed the leaks as part of his job. I was pleased with the service and the cost and would definitely use them for future plumbing work.

Update 6/27/18: I used them again to replace shower trim and switch out a tub spout. Same timely and great service as before.
