I found Monty's on Yelp (thank you Yelpers for honest reviews). KC Montgomery (aka Monty) provided exceptional service. I had a clog somewhere in the system and needed help asap. I called KC who scheduled me that same day, arrived 5 minutes early and went right to work. He accessed various entry points to get to the clog. He charged me what he told me he would charge (no extras for having to go into multiple access points). He knows what he is doing and was very thorough even staying after the clog was cleared to ensure the water was flowing through the system as it should. Never had a plumber do that. Monty's Plumbing is a ""keeper"" for my plumbing needs.

Wow! A small owner run business that puts the big ones to shame. I had some gas line issues. KC the owner came, fixed it, then the old gas line that they didn't mess with started leaking (due to other forces) . AND it was hard to get to. I saw big dollar signs. KC came and fixed it using a creative, less expensive method. Best of all he closed the loop on the gas problem making sure that the system was good to go so no future problems. I've used many plumbers in the past but this is the first guy I felt really just wanted to do quality work at reasonable costs. I will definately use this guy again - he cares about the quality and his reputation, and not just making a buck.

KC Montgomery runs a great business...he persevered at my house until the problem was solved. He is quick to return phone calls, shows up on-time, and even checks-in after the work is completed to make sure everything is A-OK. They did a great job cleaning up after they were done and are extremely thorough. And, to top it all off, his rates are quite reasonable. We will definitely use Monty's Plumbing for our plumbing needs in the future.

KC was great! He came to our house in the morning before normal hours because he was busy the rest of the day. Not only that but he got back with me right away and I knew that I was going to be in good hands. I highly recommend Monty's plumbing they are fast, reliable, and have great customer service! He even dealt with my pain in the neck landlord!

KC was quick to respond to the message that I left on his machine and even quicker to get here to fix our problem. We had sewage coming out of our bath tub when we would flush our toilet. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within the hour. He even honored a coupon for OB locals that I didn't know existed. All in all he runs a great business and if we ever need another plumber he will be the first we call. I couldn't give him a higher recommendation.

If you're looking for an honest person, KC is the must go to plumber. He was out of town but identified a couple of causes for my garbage disposal not working and walked me through a couple of possible solutions over the phone. I don't anyone who would forgo making money. He also helped me with a clogged shower. No more searching for a reliable and trust-worthy plumber....I have him saved in my phone and so should you!!!

So my toilet clogged. Too much TP. I called Monty's, left a message and got a response a minute later from KC. Didn't have to wait long at all since I live in OB. Once he got here it was smooth sailing and he worked quickly and efficiently. KC was such a nice guy and the service was fantastic!! I will call them for all my plumbing needs!! THANKS KC!

I live in OB and was looking for a good, honest plumber. I looked on yelp, and read reviews. Monty's plumbing has near universal strong approval from his customers. I found KC to be an extremely affable, honest, professional and capable plumber, so it makes sense that his customers love him. He's super quick and has a remarkable ability to think outside the box (no not everything needs to be ripped out and replaced at huge $$). Plumbers that actually try to save their customers money are extremely rare and should be coveted.

In short: I cannot recommend him highly enough.

ps. you will read one negative review-- who I think is probably another plumber who can't compete against Monty's or a crazy customer. Rude and a waste of time? Couldn't be further from the truth.....

I called Monty's Plumbing on a Sunday morning with a water leak. I was surprised when KC called back in an hour and came over within another hour. He provided a temporary solution while I was out of town for a week, which really saved me a lot of worry and stress. He completed the repair at a reasonable price when I returned. I definitely recommend Monty's Plumbing.

I love Monty's Plumbing! I had a backed up shower drain and he came out that day to fix it. It was really reasonably priced and very quick! He was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong. Also, very friendly and great with my dog! I would recommend Monty's to anyone. Definitely the first person I will call if I have another plumbing problem! Thanks!
