This weekend was the third time I used Paul to deal with a backed-up drain for my aging home. Even though I was expecting the worst outcome in terms of cost, Paul addressed the issue in the most cost-effective way he could to resolve the issue. As a senior homeowner with limited income, this was such a relief. Other unscrupulous plumbing companies are gouging owners by insisting that expensive (and likely unnecessary) pipe replacements are the only solution. Paul/Montecito Plumbing is honest and will only suggest that route if it's the only option. He doesn't charge extra for weekend work, is efficient and knowledgeable with great suggestions for how to keep your plumbing in the best condition to minimize the need to call him. Don't let the expensive-sounding business name fool you...Paul is a local who doesn't have to hide from his customers in public because he always gives you a fair deal. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone and he'll be the first person I call for any plumbing needs in the future.

Paul is a very reliable and trustworthy plumber. I am a local real estate Broker in Santa Barbara. We have worked together on numerous occasions. Whether it's a minor plumbing repair or a full water heater replacement, Paul takes pride in his work and always leaves his jobs in meticulous condition. Something I really appreciate is that he provides before and after photos of his work when emailing the invoice. It's New Year's Eve at 7 PM. We finish dinner, load up the dishwasher, start cleaning up the counters, and what do you think happens? You guessed it: kitchen sink completely clogged (because of course it does on New Year's Eve). So I start calling every single plumber within 50 miles and, I leave a message for Paul at Montecito plumbing. He calls back.

At 7:45 PM, Paul is at our door with a smile on his face. We walk through the potential issues, he does some troubleshooting, and within 45 minutes with me looking over his shoulder the entire time, the job is done. And just for additional support, he runs a couple of additional tests on our plumbing infrastructure to highlight any other issues we might expect in the future.
