I wanted to update this , only fair . I received a quality control call , she was very nice . Did a survey with her ( can't remember her name) . They did refund $100 of the payment for the lack of service on the service call . That I had to fix myself .

They lie! They take your money! Do your research before you let them do ANYTHING!!!! They came out 2 times to fix my a/c and it's still not fixed and I've already paid them $1100 for nothing!!!!

THIS COMPANY IS OVERCHARGING! Where do I start? Terrible! First of all we used them before for minor repairs and happily paid their $79 service fee. However, when our water stopped working, the first guy came out and their office manager Ambrosia made a point to tell me he had 31 years experience... he didn't even look 31 years old. We asked for an evaluation to ""fix"" our pump, the guy came and they charged us $393 to replace a valve that literally cost $43. I checked 5 sources and the most expensive one was $43. It didn't fix it correctly. Then about a week later, the same thing happened. Their second guy said we needed a new pump, for $3600. That included another service fee of $79. I said no way was I paying for another service fee. When I got their estimate, they removed the service fee but said 1 hour of labor was $1260. Also, we'd have to wait at least 3-5 days for them to order the part. We had no water! SERIOUSLY! We called another company they came right out and were shocked when I showed them Montani's estimate. They did a thorough evaluation and said there was nothing wrong with our pump motor, it simply needed to be tightened and a small gasket put in. It took about 5 minutes to put in and our water runs perfectly. This company milks their customers by overcharging on parts as well as labor. Why would this company take advantage of a customer that has used them twice before? Dumb business! If I could give them negative stars I would.

MMG was available and able to schedule this repair before I even was. Technician Mike came out and had problem solved in no time. They even agreed to hold my payment until my paycheck ""hits"" later in the day.

I really wanted to post this review in response to an earlier review of this company. Someone posted a bad review because their repair had to be rescheduled due to a death in the technician's family, and the customer said something ridiculous like, ""as a company, you don't stop business due to a death in the family."" With all due respect, sir, that's exactly what a company / employer should do. The employee who suffered a loss does not come to work that day or for a number of days afterward. It's really pathetic to think whatever you screwed up at your house that needed fixing was a priority over that for this company, and I give props to MMG for how they handled that, no matter what that homeowner thought.

First time to use Montani Mechanical Group. While the repairs are not yet finished, parts had to be ordered, I am impressed with the prompt response and professionalism.

While they did not install the original unit, they were able to track down the warranty and save me over $700 on the motor.

They technician did not spend time trying to sell me an overpriced ""club"" membership. The last company I called wanted me to join their club at $2,000 per unit. I guess they thought I was stupid.

The Montani tech told me they do offer a service agreement but it is under $200.

The only bad news is it will take 3-5 days for the motor to arrive.

Poor Customer Service, Poor communication with Customers. So we fully understand that a death in the family is catastrophic and the Tech has other problems, but as a company, you just don't stop business because your employee had a death in the family, furthermore, you should call the customer and cancel rather than Text them as you did with us, that's just piss poor customer service and you should be ashamed at that. Your office Manager is partly to blame with her attitude.
