Had work done a year ago September. The work was great. I have contacted them multiple times looking for an itemized bill so that I can take advantage of any rebates or government programs, I have heard nothing. The comments I've read about customer service? Why should I have to chase something I paid some pretty good money for? Either they are understaffed, keep bad records or both.

6/23/2023 - The technicians who came to replace our outside water faucet and install a few new shut off valves were friendly and efficient.
After the work was done I was unhappy with the outside faucet & the basement sink faucet he replaced. The water comes out at a high rate & it sprays water everywhere, making it impossible to run the sink in the basement and impossible to fill a watering can outside. They didn't replace the faucets with the same type that were there originally. My husband called and spoke with someone who told him thats how they are all made now. He didn't offer to replace or look at them. I had my husband call again and they said the technician would call back. We never received a return phone call.
I have since been to the hardware store where we did find a slow flowing outdoor faucet & sink faucet that does not spray.
I won't be calling them for any other plumbing needs and I certainly won't recommend them.

I wasn't going to write up a review but I'm definitely going to seeing as how the manager has been completely careless in replying to my husband and has published my home address online. Who does that?

First of all, YES. We initially called due to a sewage smell in our house that we just purchased. The technician who came out claimed he ""didn't notice anything"" and furthermore, after a brief look around our house claimed he wasn't even sure our house was vented to begin with! (It is, second plumbers found the vent pipe immediately) He didn't even try to look at the overall picture of what was wrong with our house and insinuated any smell we were noticing was either minor or imaginary and a powder he was recommending should work fine.

He DID say he could fix the most minor issue we had in our home: a detached toilet that was like that when we bought the home a few weeks prior. (The easy work ).

We did not stand over him while he did this, however, and at SOME POINT he went back into our basement and loaded all of our existing components up with huge stickers! Our new furnace, the electrical panel, everything! No asking if this was what we wanted or telling us that we were now part of some ""priority service"" where we could get help faster or whatever. Before you put your stickers on people's stuff you should warn them! I don't plan to use your business again and I wouldn't recommend this company and I was disgusted to see that my address had been posted in your reply to my husband. I had to work with Yelp to get it removed! Another reason not to use this company. They don't care about you at all! Beware!

We called Monroe to look at our gurgling sinks and fix a toilet because we had a foul smell in the downstairs bathroom of our new ""old"" home. Monroe came out and secured our toilet but when he looked at our sinks he couldn't determine what the issue was or even if they were vented. He advised adding a special powder to the sinks to fix the smell.

The powder did nothing for the smell and we had to get another plumber to come out to look at the sinks. There is a BIG problem with our plumbing and he totally missed it. The sewer line in the basement under the bathroom had a 2 ft long crack on the side and many of the old pipes in the house were rotten and need to be replaced. We were very disappointed with this plumber and even more insulted when we found GIANT 3 x 4 sticker for his company all over everything in the basement... the water heater, the fuse box, and even our new furnace. These are not even easy to peel off or a magnet. They had the new plumber confused because Monroe did nothing with those things besides try to ""claim"" the work as their own. (As our new plumber put it.)

Since we were so disappointed in this plumber I am NOT calling them again and having reminders of them only prompted me to write this bad review. Avoid them and the ""vandalism"" of all your components with stickers. At least if you let them do it, you'll remember who to write a bad review for...

last night I went to basement to do laundry and saw a huge puddle of water around my water tank, I freaked because I am having open house today. I called Monroe and spoke to Pat, I explained my situation and he said he'd come but it was around the time of open house. He was kind enough to accommodate me and came early this morning. Thankfully it wasn't the water tank but a part that he fixed immediately. I'm definitely keeping his number for future plumbing services. He was efficient and definitely made my day. Highly recommend this guy!

I live in west coast, but I had to get the hot water heater replaced at my house in the Boston area. I had reached out to Monroe Home Solutions through Yelp. They were very responsive . The quote they gave to me for replacing hot water heater was very reasonable. They also clicked photos of the work and sent it to me. The work was done at the price quoted. They were also punctual and followed covid protocols.

Awful ! met Patrick, who was initially super helpful and professional. came on a Sunday to assess, tells me he'll need 5 mins and he'll know the problem, which he did not. said he'd return on a Tuesday, but he canceled. said he'd return following Thursday between 2-5... never called, never showed. I called 5:10 & 5:20, and was told they're too busy to help and to call back next week. Hard pass! Unprofessionally handled.
