Carlos and Wes came out to use a jetter on a a slow secondary line that was causing a floor drain to back up. Carlos did a great job getting the muck cleared out, even showing me the difference on his camera.

We will have to wait and see what other plumbing fun the future holds, but I am glad I called Monkey Wrench Plumbing again!

We spent around $6500 moving a kitchen sink about 15ft (the house has a crawl space that is at least 5ft tall), added a toilet and shower and sink ( a new bathroom that shares a wall with the existing bathroom), and moving the laundry water supply.

They were slightly more expensive than a few other quotes I got but I prefer to use higher end to make sure things are one correctly and UP TO CODE!

They did not insulate their pipes on the work they did so we failed inspection. When asked to come back out to correct their work it was going to be 3 weeks before they could get us on the schedule. Ridiculous.

Also they were supposed to pull permit for adding the bathroom plubming and they didn't but they did charge me $256 for that and because I thought the permit was pulled, but it wasn't, we got a stop work order and ate a week worth of interest payments.

They did promptly refund the permit fee they charged me and the excuse was ""we must have just missed it""....... seemed pretty sketchy to me. I'm glad everyone else had good experiences with these guys but they charged me for work they didn't do (permit) and didnt do work that was up to code (pipe insulation) and then wouldn't come out to fix the work they did incorrectly (3 weeks out).

Short version- these guys are awesome. Stop looking and go with them.

Jason and Gentry came to our place to install a hose bib outside. The price was great and they were able to schedule us a quickly. After starting work for a bit, though, they realized they had made a mistake in starting a way that wouldn't be possible--our hose was going to be a lot more challenging than we thought.

They immediately showed me what had happened, and since a hole had already been cut, didn't spend a moment trying to tell me it would cost me more, looking to cut corners to finish things quickly, trying to cancel, etc. Instead, they apologized for not noticing the issue, cancelled their other appointment today, and spent half the day at my house getting things right (and getting pretty creative at how to get it done). In the end, there was a hole in the drywall that had needed to be opened. They said they wanted to take responsibility for that and would be hiring a company to come out and perfectly level and patch it rather than them doing it themselves or making me sort it out, knowing it might not quite look perfect. And in the end, they didn't charge me a dime more than their estimate.

I'll only call these guys from here out. Highly recommended!

Got 2 quotes today and the first was with Superior Water & Air, they wanted to charge $1,277 for to replace the back flow preventor?!?!? And said it would take many hours if the bolts weren't rusts.

The 2nd quote came in around $700 but said it would take a week to order the parts and probably 4 hours of labor.

Jerry was the 3rd to come out and provided not only the best quote but had integrity around the work needed and the time to complete.

After we agreed he went and picked up the parts and finished an hour later.

Happy to see that I wasn't being taken advantage of, and work was done right the first time and saved me $702 dollars!

Can't wait to use Monkey Wrench again!

These guys are great. Super responsive through Thumbtack. Showed up early. Really friendly and straightforward. Wore masks when I requested it. Did a great job relaxing my water pressure regulator. They are highly recommended.

I hired Monkey Wrench for a few jobs in my new townhome. I had them install a pressure release valve, install a new pipe for my dryer, service my furnace, and fix a leak on my outdoor hose spigot. They explained the work clearly and made sure I understood my options. They were communicative with scheduling and fit in the critical jobs that affected my neighbors' water when some of the work needed to be rescheduled. Quality and honest work; definitely will book them for future jobs.

Our main water line broke on a week-end. Wes picked up the phone on the Saturday afternoon, came to our house within an hour and his team got to work on the Sunday morning. 2 days later, they were done replacing the whole line and they also made sure the place was clean and tidy. Honest, friendly reactive, pro: perfect combination!

Wes was super responsive. He replaced one of my two water heaters and help drain out the other. He spent time answering my questions and was up-front with the cost. Wes has a good sense of humor but was respectful all the way. Feel confident in his 20 years as a professional plumber.

I have a few other items that Wes quoted for future projects. Good guy all around.
