I feel they do good work but are very expensive. Do your homework and check their quotes against another plumber especially when it involves replacing a tankless heater and any in-line water filters.

Worst people you can hired. Change toilet for $1,300.00; or use your toilet for charging $600.00 labor, it cost me $65.00 from other company. Ruben is the on quote the crazy price. Do you think you will hire them next time?

Needed service on a tankless water heater that I inherited - it had not been maintained and they knew exactly what to do. Everything was explained up front and future options were discussed in person and emailed - very Professional. I will definitely use them for future service on this water heater.

My Nortiz Tankless Water Heater was not working. It had been installed improperly (as I later learned). My handyman looked at it and told me I needed a Nortiz Technician - so I looked for one. Monkey Wrench popped up first. I called and Josh came out.

He was on time, professional, clear, and efficient. The news wasn't good, but I didn't expect it to be - they gave me options but what I really needed was a new system. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Josh and Lydia did the install - arriving exactly when they said they would and handling it with great skill. Josh patiently explained to me everything I needed to know. I am so impressed with the work they did and the top quality they provided. It wasn't cheap, but it was what I needed and done extremely well. I will use Monkey Wrench again any time I need plumbing help. I highly recommend them based on this experience.

And if you need help with a tankless water heater - ask for Josh. He is amazing. Lydia was great too. They have made me a customer for life.

Tankless Noritz was not making it above 110, called Monkey Wrench out. Made it within the time slot for appointment, barely but they made it hah. Rick was working with a Trainee and delivered results within a short time frame. Friendly, shared information to help me not need a plumber so soon for the unit, offered options and moved on when I said I just needed the unit to get hotter. No fuss, no muss. I already am getting ready to use them again for another task. Would recommend, would use them again.
Also, a handwritten 'thank you for using us' note came in the mail shortly after. Nice touch.

The work they did was fine. My wife called them several times based on a referral. One time they came out for a leak when they quoted and completed a 1 day job in our laundry room for almost 20K. They also quoted us 100k to redo the plumbing in our house. That amount seemed way too much so we got other quotes from 2 other companies. We paid another company 25K to redo the ENTIRE house. When we reviewed the laundry room job, both other plumbers told us we were ripped off and overcharged. Looking through some of the other reviews, this is a common practice for this company. Unfortunately we were victim to being overcharged when we really needed help. I tried to call them and negotiate a reasonable price which they had ZERO interest in doing.
Shame on you Monkey Wrench. Go elsewhere! Don't be ripped off like us. I also plan on making a report to the BBB.

I attempted to hire these folks to do a tub spout replacement. Would not give a basic cost range, but said they'd give a no commitment estimate when they arrived for our scheduled appointment. On the day of the appointment they called to say they'd ""gotten a big job yesterday"" and couldn't make it. I worked with them to reschedule for a week later, and once again, on the day, got a call that they ""had gotten a big job yesterday"" again, and couldn't make it.

So yeah, never again. Stay away if you're looking for a plumber that will actually show up.

I reached out to Monkey Wrench Plumbing after having ongoing difficulties with my previous plumbers. The staff at Monkey Wrench was extremely helpful and responsive when I first reached out to them. Josh (the plumber assigned to our job) quickly visited our house to assess the problems we were having with our tankless water heaters. He was able to clearly explain the repairs that were needed, gave us a range of options to go with and offered his expert insight on each option...no pressure or bias. After we selected our repair option, the job was completed efficiently and, most importantly, correctly! I have to say, dealing with Monkey Wrench exceeded our expectations. I recommend them without hesitation.

The friendly service started with our first call to their customer service. She was so nice and helpful. We got Joshua Perez to visit and took apart our hot water heater to diagnose the issue. Fixed it very quickly and was friendly as you can get. Was also very careful with booties and face mask during COVID. Great great service!
