The first appt. they were a no call no show. Rescheduled, they showed up in a personal, unmarked vehicle, no uniform or even a company tshirt. Replaced trap under my sink only to find out it has been slowly leaking ever since, leaving me with a moldy mess.

About a week prior to my installation date Monte with Monkey Wrench Plumbing had contacted me saying who he was and that he would be providing the installation service. He infomred me that the water softener that I purchased was a great water softener and it was built locally. He offered to upgrade the piping to the water softener that would be a better quality. Initially, Monte quoted me $375 to upgrade the piping. I asked him that I am already being charged $283 by Amazon to install the water softener and now you want to charge me an extra $375. Monte stated that thats what he usually charges customers but would offer it to me for $275. On my install day May 26th 2017, Amazon had confirmed my install between 8-11am. At 11:30am I called Monte asking where he was and he told me Amazon had confirmed him between 11am-1pm. At 1:40pm, Dwayne showed up in his personal Toyota Matrix vehicle in shorts and a shirt. He started getting to work and then tells me at 2:00pm that he does not have the parts and has to run to Home Depot. At 3:30pm I called Monte explaining the situation which he tried to confirm with me everything will be good and I told him that Dwayne had just finished sweating the copper pipes. Monte said, he should be finishing up if he is done sweating the pipes. At 5:40pm, Dwayne finished the job not before I was just on the phone with Monte asking how long does an install take. I was not rushing them but I was in an empty house since 8am because I hadn't moved in yet. He tried to confirm with me that the system will be great and asked me ""it looks great doesn't it"". I responded to Monte, that I did not pay to have it look great and until I see how it works I do not have response. When Dwyane was finished I asked him to explain the system in which he installed he went over how to turn it off but that was it. I asked how the electronics work of the water softener and he stated to read the manual or watch youtube videos. I also got no answer about switching from sodium tablets to potassium tablets. When it was all said and done, Dwayne left the empty boxes that the water softener came in sitting in the garage. Did not even offer to throw them away. In regards to Monkey Wrench Plumbing, I feel they have horrible communication, customer service, and are way overpriced for the work they offer. In total, the work they charged me an extra $275 for included about 12 different copper piping and 3 steel ball valves. That was on top of the $283 that Amazon charged me for the install.

Monkey Wrench was hired by Lowes to install our new garbage disposal. Monte (the owner) came out with another plumber to complete the install. They were friendly, fast and efficient!! He even noticed another problem that I had and will be back out to my home on Tuesday to fix that. They will be our go to plumbers from now on. I'm so glad that we found a great plumbing company!!

Monkey Wrench was hired by Lowes to complete an emergency install of a water heater I purchased from them. Monte came out to our home with his assistant to complete the install. He was organized, professional, extremely knowledgeable in plumbing, and most important answered all our questioned regarding our new water heater. Monte explained to us in detail about the setting of the water and was kind enough to call us the next morning to make sure our new water heater was working perfect to our expectations. We will definitely be using Monkey Wrench in the future for any plumbing issues. We highly recommend Monkey Wrench.
