I do not like to write negative reviews but feel that people should be aware of the limitations/weaknesses of this business. On the recommendation of a friend, I contacted them to repair our hot water heater which had completely stopped working. Two men came to my house on the first day, then one returned on the second day with some equipment they had not had on day 1. On both occasions they/he were more than 2 hours late and failed to let me know that this would be the case until I reached out to them. Worse, the technician on day 2 did not appear familiar the components of our unit.This was clearly evident when he was on the phone talking to the manufacturer (as the heater is still under warranty), and showed difficulty completing the checks they were asking for. Before talking to them he had quoted me an $800 service charge for the repair work, or $250 for troubleshooting if I decided not to proceed. Given the high cost, and concerns about what I was witnessing, I felt that I needed to obtain other estimates before proceeding any further. Ultimately, I hired another plumber who knew exactly what was wrong, and was able to fix my heater in an hour for $233.

In fairness to this business, they were pleasant enough and dropped the troubleshooting charge once I argued that they had not provided me with any useful information.

I was very pleased with Monarch service. I put in a request through Yelp for help from multiple plumbers and they were one of the early responders. They came out right on time and did the job at a price just a few bucks more than the cost of an estimate from some of the others.

Today, I had a plumbing emergencyyyy!
I did call another company first going down the list and they did not cut it
for me, so I told them thanks and called Monarch. The person who answers phones was super sweet and told me she could have someone out between a certain time. The 2 gentlemen who showed up were prompt within the time given. They came in, looked over everything and told us they had to go under the house. We get nervous [$$$] but knew it had to be done. We were given an honest estimate [was worse than we thought] but the quote was reasonable and the price for what they did today was very super reasonable for what they did. I highly recommend you call them for your emergency plumbing needs...they are good business. We will be seeing them soon to deal with the bigger issue at hand in a week or so. Glad I called them and you'll be glad too.

Mostly happy we chose Monarch to address our needs - we had one toilet that needed replacement, but not urgently, and we got a good deal to replace all 3. The only issue is that we were not told the regular toilets they had in stock were chair height and not standard, which caught us off guard after installation. It would cost additional money to replace yet again (which they are thankfully willing to cut a deal on if we choose to go that route) so while the work was done well, quickly, and professionally, we're left with a product we're less than thrilled with but will have to get used to it.

It was a completely terrible experience. We used them on a rehab property in the Peninsula. They did a repipe for the house along with sewer lateral and drain pipe repair. Initially Eli seemed capable however over time he showed a lack of caring and professionalism to get the job done right and in a timely manner. I had them pull a permit with the county and that was a convoluted process which they made complex on their end. To add insult to injury Eli's office scheduled the permit inspections and he was aloof on when they would take place. As a result, he missed three inspections of course this pissed off the county inspector. When they did the sewer lateral work they didn't take safety precautions by putting cones and plywood etc. They left it open and someone could have fallen into the dug out hole in the front yard. In addition, it was going to rain and they left the roof vents open and my other contractor had to fix their work otherwise water would have leaked into the home. I confronted Eli and told him I don't trust you anymore to follow through on the inspections and had a general contractor go in his place to meet with the inspector. He had the nerve to call me multiple times demanding a final payment and their office sent a demand that I would go into collections. Keep in mind I already paid more then 80% of the balance at this point. Based on contractor payment schedules the final payment would be made once we pass inspection which is what I told him and a competent person would understand this. One of the most unprofessional plumbing companies I've come across. Jose the owner is not pleasant either he would keep reiterating the final payment and I told him once it passes inspection.

Israel and Eli came out on super short notice and cleared our drain. They also gave me some tips on how to keep my drain clear as possible. I will be using Monarch in the future!

Our main water line broke outside our house and burst like a foundation two days before thanksgiving. Several local companies don't have time opening to fix before the holidays. Had another company come out first but their estimate was double the cost of what several other plumbers estimated using photos. Luckily Ozzy and his colleague was able to take a look after they finished a job nearby and gave us a fair estimate, so we hired them.

Next morning they came and fixed the main water line, also helped us fixing an irrigation line that the previous plumber damaged during their digging. Very professional. Answered all our questions, and cleaned up the whole area. Monarch plumbing company does NOT raise price crazy to overcharge people like the other company did before holidays. I am glad to find them. I will let all my friends know about them if they need a plumber too.

Eli is fantastic. They arrived on time and fixed both toilet issue and loose tap issue super fast. They are very professional and I will definitely use their service in the future.
