By Far, Monarch Plumbing & Rooter are thé best Plumbing Business in the Bay Area. Saturday, April 9th Miguel and Yovany came to my rescue to unclog my Bath Tub/Shower. The First Plumbing Company snaked my bathtub and indicated that I had roots in my bathroom tub/shower pipes. That was definitely misdiagnosed. Miguel and Yovany bought a camera and diagnosed everything through my clean out and there were no roots in any of my pipe lines or in the City's main line. One thing for sure I had old galvanized worn out pipes and they were replaced with the current up to date Plastic Pipes... My bathtub/Shower is completely working and I'm a happy camper. I will definitely recommend my family and friends to do business with Monarch Plumbing & Rooter.

Monarch did a big project at our house a year ago and I'm finally getting around to writing the review.

Our home had old 1949 era galvanized piping, and it was in bad shape. There was internal corrosion in the pipes to the point water flow was slowing. I was also not comfortable thinking about the 'yucky extra' material that may be breaking lose from our own pipes, contaminating our otherwise pristine East Bay MUD tap water. We are so fortunate to have good tap water, it's a shame to make it dirty within our own 4 walls.

We chose Monarch to repipe the whole house with copper, after looking at 3 bids, based on a fair price and Jose's competent explanation of how they would run the project. It was a big job, going from the street to every tap. We removed the traditional tanked water heater that was in our kitchen and installed a tankless water heater outside the home. This required a new gas line and earthquake shutoff valve, plus some minor electrical work. Trenching was done to the street connection. Walls were opened, closed, and repainted. Everything was permitted and they handled the permits and inspections.

One year later, we are still happy with the outcome. The hot water circulates throughout the house during our awake hours, so we have instant hot water at every tap. What a luxury, being able to turn on a strong hot shower immediately rather than waiting 5 minutes for the old trickle to arrive in the corroded pipes. There were a few small problems that emerged several months after the job was complete, like a whining near the incoming street water, and Monarch was out here within a day to address it under warranty.

I had been worrying about the expense of this project for a few years before tackling it, and I'm grateful that we chose Monarch. The whole crew was professional, clean, and courteous from start to finish. Thanks for a job well done!

I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to write this one. I highly recommend these professionals. From the first visit where two polite gentlemen showed up and put camera down sewer. They took measurements and wrote a quote that was thorough and completely described all work to be done. Then, on day of sewer lateral replacement, a full 8 person crew showed up and went to work. At the end of the day it was completed, inspected and site was left spotless.
My father was a master plumber and I'm sure he's smiling looking down from heaven. Thank you monarch plumbing!!!

Where do I start I can only say wonderful things about this company. They save me so much money.!!! I called them on a Tuesday around 4 PM and they came at 6:30pm same day, they came on time. Super friendly and they save me more than half.I had previously contacted another company and they want to charge me almost twice. Monarch came the Hydro clean My sewer line and put camera. they show me the problem and mark the problems spot. I'm just so happy that I contact them. super happy with them.!!!!

Our 75yo 200'+ sewer lateral was backed up. Plumbing Care determined after trying to snake the line that the job required more powerful equipment. (They charged nothing despite working for nearly an hour.) PCI recommended Monarch who came out the same day. They provided a reasonable estimate to jet the line and had it cleared within an hour. They then ran a camera on the line and determined it was in good shape except for a slight offset in one of the pipes. In other words, the clay line had not collapsed and required replacement.
