The plumber arrived three hours late, and announced it would be $450 to install a faucet at my kitchen sink. I could send him away of course if I paid the $80 service fee.

The gentleman was very nice that came to install the faucet, but let's just say I feel taken advantage of in a big way.

In their favor the last two plumbers I called on Yelp didn't even return my phone call.

Never again Mojica! Screw me once.....

Terrible Terrible service from the get go. I was recommended Mojica by a friend so I thought it was a solid chose will all the plumbers in the area. I had an appt set to address a leak and replace a shut off valve. After waiting a couple hours I gave the plumber a tour of the property. He mentioned I needed to have the complex turn off the main water valve or if my unit had a personal shut off valve we could address the leak then. We walked outside the unit and he even looked in the water heater closet to look for the shut off valve. He said he didn't see one.....charged me $95 bucks for coming out and told me to call him when I get the water turned off. I then called my complex to get the water turned off and set a 2nd appt per request. The day came for my 2nd appt with the whole complex's water supply turned off for 4 HOURS and they were a no-show. I called several times and was told they were coming. Come to find out from my neighbor the shut off valve is right in the water heater closet in plain sight. I looked myself and it was 2 feet in front of your face. I called the office and was given no apologies for the no-show or any offer to refund or adjust my 1st service call. At this point if felt trapped to start back at square one so I had them out for a 3rd and final time. Once the bill came there were no discounts or apologies for the missed valve shut-off or no-show. I even tried to present a couple they advertised on their own website which was rejected. My recommendation is to take your business elsewhere. Side note; the guy who actually did the work was just fine.

Ray helped us replace a shower cartridge that malfunctioned giving us only scalding hot water or very cold water. We now have warm water again! Thank you, Ray! Your work was great!

Ray was very professional and easy to work with. He was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Mojica Plumbing to anyone out there!

Called them after another plumbing service came out and either wanted to perform some procedure I've never heard of for $400 or he thought I had a problem I did not. When I called them and I described the problem I was having and they confirmed that the other plumbing service didn't give me the right diagnosis for the problem. The person I spoke to on the phone stated that it would take them longer to get to my house than to actually fix the problem. That's how simple it was. I had a kitchen sink that would not drain at all do the first plumber I called put some chemicals to move the clog on would not work because as they put it, chemicals are for slow-moving drains. If the drain does not move none of the chemicals will reach the clog. A gentleman who's name I do not recall came to the house within 30 minutes and has they said on the phone, had it fixed within 15 minutes. It was a food buildup that I had made worse by trying to fix it myself and the efforts of the other plumber only served to compound the issue. The fee I was charged was a fraction of what the first plumber wanted to charge me.
I will use them again and would recommend them to my friends in the future.

i had them come by and do an estimate for me for a clogged line in the washer, he immediately told me it was coming from somewhere else and informed me it was actually in the kitchen. i was shown a chart that showed the breakdown of fees for different services which showed that it would cost $215.00 plus the 39 dollar service call. i had to pass but later upon calling a different plumbing service when the same thing occurred again a different plumbing company charged me $367 plus an additional $69.00 service call that did not apply towards the bill to unclog the line from the washer and informed me that it would be an additional $200 to go all the way from the kitchen sink even after i had told them to start from the kitchen and on top of that talked my wife into buying some unneeded drain cleaner. So finally i called back Mojica they not only didnt charge me for the service call but they fixed it they way it should have been done in the first place..Charge $215.00 . Finding an honest plumber sometimes can cost a little bit more but in the long run its worth it. They do great work but they only do what really needs to be done. And yes plumbing is an expensive repair bill but it beats warter all over the floor. i will be calling them back..

Ray Mojica looked at our problem (low hot water pressure) and said fixing it would be a lengthy project, and that he would come back the next day. He charged me $59 for a service call, which he said would be credited toward the actual repair. He did not come back the next day, and when I called Mojica, I was told that we weren't on the schedule. I then rescheduled him. Mr. Mojica made the repairs satisfactorily, but expensively.

When I got my credit card bill, the $59 original charge had not been credited toward the actual work and an additional $59 charge had been made by Mojica two days later. When I called to complain, I was told that the company had not made two charges, and that the fault must be with the credit card company! Despite repeated calls (no response), I have not been able to resolve this issue with Mojica, and am now disputing the charges directly with the credit card company. What a hassle!

I would never use Mojica again.

I agree with everyone else who has reviewed Mojica. I used them for a water line relocation, which was expensive but probably not out of line for the work involved. However, I was out of town when my outside faucet broke (probably a gasket) and I knew that it would need to be replaced at some point, so I called Mojica again. The pet sitter was there to let them in, and said it took around 10 min. The handle seems pretty cheesy and the faucet is not working correctly (it sprays up on me, rather than down towards the patio), and while I have no doubt that they will come fix it -- and I appreciate that they were willing to fix the original problem while I was gone -- the charge ($213) is really out of line. I had the same thing done for another outside faucet on the other side of my house by a different plumber who did a great job, put in a faucet with a handle that I'm sure won't break, for less than half of the price. I was also not at the house when that work was done, and paid when he billed me.

Learn from my mistake and save your money by going with someone else.

If I could give this company less stars I would in an instant. This is my in-laws plumber, a few years ago they came and installed a water heater for them, they charged 1,000 for it. Yes, a grand, for a fucking water heater. This isn't a fancy heater, not a hard job, no magical reason for their obscene prices. Today they had them out again to replace said water heater, apparently there's a week left on the warranty, they're "giving" then a replacement heater, and only charging 800 for the removal of the old one and installation of the "free" one. It generally takes about 45 minutes to change out a water heater, worst part is draining it (why yes the heater has already been drained) so 800 for less than an hour labor. Apparently we're all in the wrong business, kids don't try to be lawyers or doctors, just grow up to be crappy plumbers, you can charge more per hour.
Please please don't waste your money here, the only positive thing I can say at all about them is they were on time. That's pretty good, but honestly I'm not really willing to pay an extra 800 for some asshole to be on time, I'd much rather just do the work myself. Don't make my in-laws mistake, go somewhere else, price shop, hell just shoot yourself in the foot then do it yourself, it would still be more cost effective than being raped by these thieves.

Stay away from this plumbing business. Even though we had spent thousands of dollars last year with them redoing the plumbing at my new business, called them this year to fix a toliet and had a terrible experience. Even though they put in our 'speciality' toliets the previous year, showed up without parts 3 hours late. Said we have special order them ourselves or they could. Shouldn't they have been able to tell me that over the phone before they came since they were their toliets THEY put in. The kicker was, for 5 mins of looking at the toliet and saying they couldn't fix it. Wanted $108 dollars to come out. total ripoff.

THESE PEOPLE RUN THEIR BUSINESS IN A WAY THAT IS SOMETHING LESS THAN HONEST. READ BELOW IF YOU NEED MORE DETAIL. In summary the price they per hour they quoted over the phone was different than the price they charged me when the completed the job. I was told the charge was $108 for the first 1/2 hour and $26/hour for every 15 minutes there after. When they finished the job they added on the hourly wage of a helper at around $xxx per hour. Secondly - the lead tech on the job had to leave for parts at the home depot and it took him an hour. The parts consisted of 4 - 3 inch 45" which he should have had on the truck. When I called to discuss the problem with the office they would not take my call and didn't return my call. In my humble opinion this dishonest business behavior
