I would give friendly service a 7 star out of 5, but the price of everything is like a knife in the back. The guys at Tom Moffet work really hard and are reliable when you hire them. Thing is, I can hire someone for the same jobs at 1/3 of the price. How reliable would it be? Probably not as reliable with no warranty, so I'm really paying for a peace of mind also.

However, one of the issues was my shower was dripping and needed a fix. They ""fixed"" it, but it started leaking again that very night. Now I have to contact them again about that, and hope that it's not another problem and will break my bank even more. But the plumber did work really hard at it and made it look really nice by the end of the day when it was done.

Friendly, reliable and professional. Just make sure you have thousands of dollars saved up just for plumbing repairs... or hundreds if it's a minor fix. Personally, I'm going to need to sell my house or find another plumber at this rate.

I scheduled an appointment online, and although I was annoyed I was going to have to wait 6 days until someone came out, I needed to. I had a backed up shower drain which in turn backed up my kitchen sink. Well, the following day, Jennifer called from the company to confirm my appointment and offered me a same day visit. I agreed. Kevin J and Felix were both extremely professional. They were clear in their description of the problem, clear with the problem, cost and solution, and did not pressure me to go with more expensive options. They worked quickly and professionally. I will definitely utilize this company again and definitely ask for Kevin and Felix again. Thank you for my clear drain.

I called to get an over the phone estimate for a clogged shower drain. They told me they could not give over phone estimate. They charged $59 for service call (that is not placed toward work to be done). They arrived (Paul was very professional and courteous) but ultimately they charged $166 plus $59 for a total of $225 to put a snake in my drain, and left within 45 minutes.

I will never use them again, simply based on this price. The $166 was their 2nd lowest level pricing. If they would have charged $83 (their lowest level) plus $59 (their service call), then I would not have written this warning message to others that simply need a drain clean out.

The going rate for a local plumber to do the same job is $120, so save yourself $100 and do not call Tom Moffett Plumbing if you have a clogged drain.

I used Moffett Plumbing for a slab leak at the end of Feb. because I heard their comericials of the FISH radio, a Christian station, so I thought I could trust them. My homeowners insurance would be paying for the plumbing and the damages,but kept hesitating to send a payment for the plumbing. The reason: They couldn't believe the high price that was charged, they thought something else must have been done, like repiping the rest of the house too. Our mistake was not getting other bids, but like I said, I thought they would do right by us. So the insurance co. called another plumbing co. to come evaluate what had been done and give their estimate, and it was less than half. I even got a 3rd bid from a reputable company I discovered from YELP, and their bid was even lower for the same exact work, which even included drywall repair!! Even though their plumber, Chris was reliable, respectful, and completed the job correctly, I will not be using them again because, now I'm stuck with a huge credit card bill -- The insurance co. is only paying what the 2nd plumber bid, so basically I'm stuck with over $4,000 bill and still have to repipe the rest of my house. I tried talking to the owner, but that was an exercise in futility. I'm even stuck with having to pay the $11.95 per month diamond club because I received a ""discount"" if I agreed to becoming a member for a year. The 3rd plumber explained to me that there are plumbers and there are repiping specialists that get 7 men in to open the walls the 1st day, repipe the 2nd day, and repair drywall the 3rd day. Tom Moffett Plumbing is a plumber who basically had 1 man with an apprentice. Repiping is not their specialty and it's too bad they didn't tell me this up front. Wow! I learned my lesson the hard way!

We had just about everyone of these guy come work on a project.
I've had people that didn't know I thing about pluming do a better job.
Promised a crew got one guy and a shovel.
Tore up lawn, driveway, side of house and left everything a mess.
Wouldn't get these guys to walk a dog
This would be a minus ten stars

I contacted them to get their $ 99 special to get their video camera in my house sewage, they change the date on me, three times, I was super patient, I really wanted to get their deal, I ended up canceling when their sales person told me that they will have to change the date again because they had to honor their contracts with some customers and didn't have enough plumbers. I was basically at the end of their priorities and that didn't feel good. If you can't honor your word then don't advertise it. My time is as valuable as theirs , they wasted my time and stressed me out. I ended up finding an unbelievable great plumber after you flaked on me. So I guess at least for that I give you one star.

I had a clogged sink and David came out to look at it. I had narrowed down the location of the clog. Of course they offered ""jetting"" the lines which would clear the whole system for over $500 but when I declined, they honored their Fish radio offer and cleared the one clogged drain very well.

David was a very professional and knowledgable plumber. I will definitely use Tom Moffett again. Thank you.

They have done good work for us in the past, but their prices were pretty high. I was willing to pay a little extra because of the service I received. No longer. Had a sewer clog on a Sunday night, they scheduled us for the following morning. No showers or toilets for over 12 hours, then an hour and a half after they said they'd be here, they call and try to reschedule for the following day. Too many other good plumbers out there to put up with this.
