I had a rodent issue in my attic. Jay offered his services through Nextdoor. It is such a blessing to have found him coz he is by far the most reasonably priced, resolved our rodent issue, very meticulous and consistent follow up. He is a kind, humble man and very respectful. He does all handyman jobs as well. I referred him to a friend who had issues with gutter and they were very pleased with his services and quote. Highly recommend and definitely would use his services again.

I was first contacted by Jay fron Modified Habitats back in June after I posted on social media DESPERATELY looking for emergency assistance because I had a dead rodent issue in my garage and my usual pest control company couldn't come out for over a week or more.

Jay responded within a matter of minutes and was at my property in less than 2hrs, fully equipped to remove any pests and let me know he also performed various other handy services.

Fast forward six months and I have no idea where I'd be without Modified Habitats or Jay.

Thus far he's completed several home improvement projects for me including patching up holes in my wall, kitchen cabinet restoration, Christmas light installation, garage organization (which he was incredibly detailed, thorough and FAST in doing), installing multiple sets of blinds and several other smaller projects.

I feel like I've genuinely found a Jack-of-All-Trades handyman for life and I'm forever grateful. Not only can Jay do what he says, he'll do it right and on time EVERY time.

Modified Habitats is amazing. We had the opportunity to work with them to resolve an ant issue that wasn't solved by bait traps alone.
We worked with Juan and he was great on the phone, had competitive pricing and was able to come out and offer same day service. His knowledge of ants was encyclopedic and he educated us on why they were coming and how to prevent them. He followed-up via text to make sure we were still satisfied. It's safe to say that Modified Habitats is now my one and only pest-control solution.

Juan is great. We had a problem with yellow jackets and he responded quickly to our search for pest control. He visited and applied some spray and told us that he will visit in another two weeks, but we shall let him know if there is any remaining yellow jackets. He followed us with us even before the follow up visit. It turns out that there are still yellow jackets going in (under some steps in our deck), so he came over and opened the steps. He found a big nest there and removed it. We really appreciate that he communicated very well with us and explained every step he is doing. He also charged a very reasonable price. He also helped me looking around my backyard to make sure there is no other pest/rodent activities. We will not hesitate to contact him again if we have any further problem.

Our backyard has always been overwhelmed by two species of ants. Over years they have been slowly destroying the sand substructure beneath our extensive brickworked yard.
