Tony is outstanding. He is trustworthy, kind, professional, and clearly an expert. I received a return phone call and was booked for an estimate the same day I called. He arrived on time and conducted a comprehensive review of my basement and property in order to diagnose our seepage problem. The great thing was that he didn't try to upsell me at all. He was truly concerned about finding the right solution. As it turns out, Tony recommended that we hold off on installing a major drainage system in our basement. He instead gave me list of potential solution I can do on my own, and asked me to continue to monitor the problem after i complete these tasks. He offered to return to my house and plan for more significant repairs if the problem remains or worsens. As an added bonus, he provided me with a estimate of what the drainage system will cost for future planning should we end up needing one. In sum, I highly recommend Tony and Modern Tech....what a great experience.

On September 27, I called and scheduled a quote. On September 30 they advertised on their Facebook page that they have openings as early as October for basement waterproofing. One week later and the day before my appointment after we both already made arrangements with our jobs to be home to meet Tony, he called me to tell me that I am too far away for him to make the time for. Real nice, Tony. You just lost out on an at least $60,000 job and inconvenienced potential clients. So much for the excellent customer service you boast.

Would highly recommend Modern Tech for basement waterproofing. Don't go with the fancy and bigger companies. Tony has been doing this for over 20 years. He is highly experienced and knowledgeable. I never take the time to write reviews...this company is worth it!
