Ben was our service man with Modern Plumbing, we had a water heater checked out and replaced all in the same day. In checking it out he discovered even though it wasn't that old it did go bad. He had to leave to go to another job, but kept in touch with me about finding a new one, which he did. he picked it and came and installed it. It wasn't a great day, it poured almost all day, But Ben was pleasant the whole time, he actually laughed about it. but staying professional the whole time and cleaning everything up before he left, We would absolutely refer Modern Plumbing to our family and friends.

This plumbing company was recommended to me. When I called I spoke with the owner Ray. He came out right away to fix my tub and I thought that was great. He said I wouldn't have any problems for years. In less than 6 months I had the same problem. When I called Ray he wasn't accommodating at all and when he said he'd call me back he wouldn't. I called and left messages and I have yet to hear from him. He was quick to take my money but not come back. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. They just take your money and run.

I looked for a plumber last minute online and contacted two. Modern Plumbing & Heating were the second to respond but able to be at my home within ten minutes of calling me. Not only did they fix the leaking pipe in our basement, they also fixed the water pressure issue we had been having free of charge. Will absolutely use again and would recommend their services to anyone!

Modern plumbing and heating replaced a 100 year old sewer line that had fractured. Mike, our service technician gave us an estimate on Monday and scheduled the work for Wednesday morning. It was great to see someone that takes great pride in his work. Old school work ethics is the backbone to a successful business and they sure live up to that. The job site was cleaned up and all scrap pipe was removed. I would highly recommend this business and Mike, our Techician was first class.

We dealt with Modern Plumbing twice now and both times have been great. First time was for a gas leak. They were out to our house in about 30 minutes and they were able to get us re-piped and ready to go very quickly. They were efficient and communicated well, making sure we knew what they were planning to do. After the work, they walked us through everything and showed us where the new shut-offs were and re-tested to make sure the leaks were gone.

Second time was for when we needed some plumbing re-routed in our home. They came out on time, and again explained everything so there were no surprise costs. The work they did was high quality and clean.

I highly recommend giving them a call. They are a fantastic company.

We were referred to Modern Plumbing and Heating by a friend. We were having difficulty with our boiler and the previous contractor could not solve the problem after 3 attempts and finally just blew us off. Ray came out to our home for the first time to inspect the boiler and also repair a small leak on our water line. He was able to fit us in earlier than he had originally anticipated and called ahead to make sure that we would be home. Upon arriving, Ray consulted with our gas supplier who was on site to inspect the meter. Once inside, Ray determined that he would need to come back for the boiler as the gas company had restarted the boiler and he did not want to just start throwing parts at the problem without knowing exactly what was going on. He repaired our water leak in about 40 minutes and left no mess behind. If not for the drip being gone, you would have never known he was there. When the boiler failed again, Ray came right out and was able to determine that the previous service person had charged us for a part but had not replaced it. Ray did not simply replace the part and leave however. He disassembled the bottom of the boiler and removed the gas pipes in order to inspect and clean them out. He took the time to explain why he was doing so and also explained how he knew that the part had not been replaced and how it functioned. We appreciated that Ray did not just show up and start throwing parts around or taking random guesses. I would recommend Modern Plumbing and Heating without hesitation. Ray is an honest person and clearly thinks the problem through before doing any work.
