Just wanted to give a shout out to Michael from Modern Day Plumbing, thank you so much for the fast and excellent work that you did on our water heater. Never had a plumber that worked so efficiently and explained the issue in a manner that was understandable. Your price was an added bonus.

It was our first time using Modern Day Plumbing and they were excellent from start to finish. Fixed our clogged master bath drain thoroughly, quickly, and cost effectively. While onsite, I inquired about draining our 2 water heaters and they completed that as an "add-on" service which is less than if they had to make a separate trip for the same work. Also they noticed a small leak in the water heater "expansion tank" in the attic which would have caused major damage if they did not catch that. Quickly fixed that as well. I am real appreciative of their attentiveness, quality of work, fair prices, and most of all Michael (owner - master plumber) and Jeremy (apprentice - younger brother) most professional, courteous and friendly demeanor. Modern Day Plumbing is getting saved in my contacts list, FOR sure!! I had a blocked pipe and my toilet would not flush. Other companies wanted to charge $150 and more in fees to come out the same day and Modern Day Plumbing didn't! They charged a $69 'site visit fee', but once I approved the work to be done, that $69 went towards the total bill. They were knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and both their office staff and plumbing staff were very communicative!

Another thing they did well was being thorough. Their plumbers found some cracks/broken pipes in the city side of the pipes leading to my home. They recommended I call the city to come assess -- which I did and the city repaired on their dime!

SO fortunate to have found Modern Day Plumbing and will 100% be using them in the future.

Michael came to my house 3 days after Christmas to fix a leaky water heater pipe that had a pipe that burst. He fixed the repair for $350, but when he left I noticed I had some water that kept re-appearing. I got a wet vacuum and sucked up all the water that had leaked, and noticed it kept coming back. I then called Michael to have him return since he offers a 1 year warranty on his repairs and he told me he could come next week because he had gotten out of surgery recently, but he couldn't give me a precise time. He told me I could wait or go find someone else. He also said if there were any other issues, I'd have to pay extra -- but I'm pretty sure Michael missed this when doing the repair. I started explaining that I think it would be unfair to pay MORE since he didn't do first repair properly (after all, who hires a plumber for a partial repair?), and Michael simply hung up on me. I called back 3-4 times afterwards and he never picked up up again. I wouldn't recommend doing business with Modern Day Plumbing. I will change my review if things change. -- Edit -- I had a second plumber come by because I couldn't wait for Michael to get back to me, and it appears to above the piece that was replaced by Michael that is slowly leaking.
