I reached out to Steven on 11/30/22 after exhausting all attempts to clear my sewer line myself. He came out almost immediately when I wasn't home to look at the pipe and cut it. He found the problem right away and needed $2000 cash, upfront to fix it. Understandable as it's a gross job. I paid the cash to avoid the extra 5% for cc fees. My receipt states that he will also spread lime under my house to absorb the mess from the pipe. I was able to go home on 12/02/23. He didn't have the lime so he would need to come back. I reached out via text on 12/15/23 to see if he had been back as I WFH and hadn't seen anyone come by. He said ""think so but I'll check"". I heard nothing back. 02/10/23 I reached out to Steve again via text and advised him certain smells are periodically coming into my home. Asked him again to spread the lime under the house. He said he would stop by that weekend. No one ever stopped by and no other communication was received. The smell has now gotten gag worthy in my home and I reached out to him again via text on 07/12/23 asking for it to be completed this week. I asked for a specific day someone would come and the response I received was ""yes"". Today is 07/14 and I haven't heard a word. I have tried to be patient but the smell has gotten worse and is spreading throughout my house. I am frustrated that such a small process that was part of what I paid for has been so difficult to get completed. Now I have to go purchase the lime on top of what I already paid and have someone else go under the house to complete it.
Mobile Maintenance owner Steve failed to properly repair leaking roof. It was patched very poorly (leaking again 2 weeks later) and he charged too much money. He also tried to bribe me to pay cash in advance. He missed the scheduled time and didn't even call. While working, he was constantly on his cell phone arguing with other customers and his employees. He even left cigarette butts in the yard.
$149 just to come out for furnace repair on a very cold night
Then another $350 for part and ten minutes to fix
when the part only cost $35 online
It makes you upset that they rip off customers in the price-gouging business for mobile home owners and I thought they were better than this BUT NOT NO MORE
Rose A.My water heater went out on Christmas morning and my furnace went out on New Years Eve. I called the only person I trust with telling me the truth whether i want to hear it or not. I have been having Steve of Mobile Maintenance service my home for many years and really has never steered me wrong. Today I had my furnace, water heater and floor under the furnace replaced. The crew that showed up to complete the job were polite, efficient, and very hard working. I would recommend Mobile Maintenance for your mobile home repair needs
Steve may know what he is doing, but he has a problem with arrogance. He quoted a price obviously ridiculously high, and proceeded to insult both myself and my house without any cause. He needs to keep his attitude in check. I will not be calling this company again.
A friend of mine has been trying to get 2 doors installed by this firm-she paid them up front for a discount on 9/11/16 and Steve told her about 4 weeks for the work would be done. They were scheduled to start today 10/27/16 (6 weeks later) and were no shows with no call to her to explain. They did show up and on 10/28/16 and performed the work to her satisfaction-unfortunate that you have to keep on them to get things done in a timely fashion.
Called Mobile Maintenance Inc., Fridley, MN, again (as Steve installed a venting pipe, back in 2012, and I kept his card). My water softener or water heater was leaking all over my floor. The temperature was well below zero and he managed to work me in and arrived in time to save my floor from being permanently damaged. Steve did all the appropriate actions to dry out or removed the surrounding areas that had gotten moistened or wet (including the insulation under my home). When it was all dry, he had several of his guys come out (the water softener was the culprit) and repaired or restored everything to its original shape (except better...kudos to everyone!). His people were professional and took care not to cause any damage to the path of the problem area. They cleaned up everything before they left! Great job considering all the calls he was getting for freezing pipes. I would use Mobile Maintenance again, and would recommend them to anybody that needs work done, especially on your mobile home!
Jaclyn H.I had an okay experience with this company. My furnace went out, the guy called to set up a time for him to come out and look at it. I never caught his name because he never said it. He messed around with it for 20 min. Said oh it was the capacitor, I replaced it all should be okay. Keep my phone number just in case. Well it's 1230 in the morning I usually keep my house at 69°-71° and my house is sitting currently at 62° and dropping. Needless to say they will be getting a phone call in the morning. However Steve was very nice over the phone when I called to ask him a few questions earlier in the week. And they were prompt to get out here.
