Wow, incredibly RUDE customer service! Does not answer the phone, when they do, they take messages that are NEVER returned. Finally after waiting for a week for a call, they want to schedule for another week out. Asked if there was a waiting list in case something opens up earlier was told, no you can have this date. I said, that's okay just cancel it. I don't need to pay for her attitude and inability to communicate without disdain.

Related to a gas dryer install:
Installers did not wear masks during COVID, talked about ME when they thought I'm out of earshot, attached the vent using only tape on one end, and charged me $100 on top of the prepaid install price (for a $5 part and 1 minute of labor).

Office staff is VERY rude and made no effort to rectify the situation.

100% not worth dealing with a company like this.

I'm very disappointed with this company.
They did a job in the neighborhood area of my small business. First of all, the technician parked his truck and trailer in our parking lot, which is clearly labeled ""customer parking only"", taking up almost the entire lot for our customers. When he left, he decided to use our parking lot as his dumpster. I've left multiple messages for them to pick this box up and have had zero response.
This is so disrespectful and unprofessional, not to mention an added expense to my business to take care of your trash.
Make this right.

TERRIBLE. Do not trust this business. They go by Minnesota Plumbing and Home Services AND Minnesota Plumbing and Appliance.

TL;DR: due to their own errors they let my range sit in my living room almost a month before showing up to install. When they did come to install they insisted without more than a glance at my gas connection that it wasn't code. Almost $400 later (was supposed to be free) another HVAC AND city code consult said I was screwed by this company.

I'm so incredibly frustrated with my experience with this company. Please find someone else and save yourself the time, frustration, expense, and that dirty feeling of someone taking advantage of you.

I bought a gas range through Costco. I carefully reviewed the materials to make sure my gas hookup and the location of my building met the requirements for delivery and installation.

The company that delivered was great. Then comes time to work with Minnesota Plumbing and Home Services. They were 8 days behind delivery, fine. On installation day they were late. They asked me to wait outside while they parked. 30min later I called to ask where they were and they informed me they decided to drive away with no attempt to call.

I called dispatch again and again. Five times total - this woman never answered the phone, often sending it straight to voicemail. Costco customer service had to demand they reschedule with me.

They finally called to reschedule and the only time available was two weeks away. I explained calmly that their crew left without telling me last time and that the range was now sitting in my living room for almost a month. The person on the line was incredibly rude, and expressed no regret at my past experience, and said I can take or leave the date they have.

On installation day they glanced quickly at the gas hookup and insisted it wasn't up to code. If I wanted my range installed I had to comply. $367 for them to install a new valve, drip line, drill into my cabinet, and for the permit (I knew I'd have to pay for the permit). The charge to ""drill hole in cabinet"" was an insulting $25, and it honestly looks like a two year old took a hacksaw to the thing.

I consulted an HVAC specialist with the home inspector I used as well as a city person about the code (I have before and after pictures). They both said I WAS up to code. The only reason to replace the valve I had was if the valve was bad, which they wouldn't know by just looking at it.

I would give zero stars if I could.
Not only do they over charge I found out from the company who I bought my hot water heater from that they were double dipping and getting paid from the company and from me. Luckily the company intercepted the service calls and called me directly and installed the new parts for free.

They were going to charge me over 500.00 to do this and 200.00 or more just to put in a plate with 4 screws. The work was done in 30 minutes and cost me nothing. If I would have let Bonfe do the work they would have charged me over 500.00. No kidding. The company that put in the parts to the water heater is hired by the company that builds and sells the hot water heater. If we need anything we are going to that company. Read this and be very careful. They are not a good company. When we needed our shower fixed a small valve to be put in cost us over 300.00.
Way way way over priced. If the service man did not call me I could have thrown away over 500.00.

Two gentlemen installed my new gas and OTR microwave ovens we bought from Best Buy. Very well skilled and courteous. Both ovens work well. Thank you.

On Oct. 28, 2019 we purchased a dishwasher from Best Buy. We elected to have them arrange for the installation and paid $159.99 for the installation along with $29.99 for an installation kit, for a total of $190. The day of installation, three men showed up. One looked under the sink and immediately said that our water line valve was too small and needed to be switched out. He said that the newer dishwashers required a larger water line valve. He also stated that it was city code. I questioned this as our house is only 16 years old, and we had a new dishwasher installed 7 years ago without any problem. None of our neighbors who have replaced dishwashers in houses the same age have encountered this. I was told that I would be charged $150 for the installation of the new valve (which I found online for $8) plus an additional $100 which was for ""insurance"". Never heard of the customer having to pay for insurance. So the installation of our $399 dishwasher was now going to cost $440. I felt very violated at this point, but had already had to wait for installation due to some health issues. When they left, they gave me a receipt for the additional $250 which states the $100 was ""Air Hammer"". I am assuming this is a tool they used, but again have not heard of having to pay for use of a tool. They were here for a total of 30 minutes. Exorbitant Hourly rates!
I then did some research myself. I spoke with some plumbers who did say that newer dishwashers used larger water lines, but that it was an easy fix with an adaptor. (This is what our neighbors' plumbers must have used.) It is an inexpensive part also, and easy to install. I also called the city building department. They said there is no such building code in place for that valve. Researching the installation of the dishwasher and this special valve did state an air hammer was a required tool. Not only did this company outrageously charge us, but we were specifically lied to as well. As someone else stated, this reflects poorly on Best Buy as well, and we will not be buying appliances from them in the future.

Although the plumbing was okay, the prices are outrageously high. It is almost impossible to get anyone at their main office on the phone, and if you do they are rude and unhelpful.

My project was charged at a rate of over $300 an hour, and their response is 'we don't charge by the hour!'

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Same thing as others come out and disappear because Best Buy didn't do something. Don't use. You will regret. The only way they get business is by being an installer for Best Buy. They use Best Buy as a front to gauge you for more money. Installer left us hanging high and dry. Still waiting two weeks later.
