New homeowner, I had a 30 year old heating oil based boiler system that was extremely inefficient and had multiple leaks, making me quite nervous last and for this coming winter that there would be a catastrophic failure leaving me and my family in the lurch. I did some research and decided to go with an Energy Kinetics System 2000 system, and asked the manufacturer if there is a small business that installs them on Long Island, and they recommended M&M Precision. From the office manager to the plumbers, I am very happy with all of the communications and solid work done, especially the speed of the process from start to finish. It took two or three weeks from the initial phone call until it was installed. I got a quote from another (much bigggr) company based on LI and the sales rep didn't really seem to care, and also glossed over a few details like needing a new chimney liner which I'm sure they would have sprung on me later to help the sale go through initially. Besides the fact that they were slightly more expensive. I am a numbers person and knew based on the oil efficiency that it would pay itself off in 7-10 years and also add immediate value to the house. Kind of a no brainer versus going for a traditional system that are typically made in China these days and are designed to fail prematurely. Do your own research and you will probably come to the same conclusion as me. Now I don't need a service contract aside from a yearly filter change/nozzle cleaning and can buy COD oil to get the best deal. Needed one followup visit and it was as seamless as could be. Anyway I am a happy customer. Look at the paint job on that thing, and their beautiful work!
