I've used M&M several times over the years. They've always been prompt, professional, communicate great, and have done excellent work. Maybe a little more expensive, but worth it IMHO. This time my furnace blower went out. Steve W. came out and discovered a bigger problem where the secondary Heat Exchanger had apparently plugged up and had a void allowing CO into the forced air. It was only 4ppm, but it could have gotten bad. The furnace was 21 years old so I guess it was time for a new one. He went and fetched a replacement and had it mostly installed that day. Came back the next day and finished up the sheet metal work, improving it from what was there.
3 furnaces, 2 water heaters, plumbing work, and service calls. I will always use them.

Absolute rip off. The technician I worked with was wonderful, on-time and professional through the whole experience. He was there for nearly 6 hours, helping fix a pipe that burst. For the repairing the pipe that burst I was charged a very reasonable ~$300 which took roughly 4.5 hours. However to install a dishwasher which took him about an hour and I provided the installation kit, I was charged over $500.

An absolute disgust of a company. Being born and raised in N. Michigan with 20+ years of internet use this is the first time in my life I have taken the time to write a review, but my experience with M&M Plumbing and Heating constitutes taking a few moments out of my life and sharing my experience with this ""company"". Flooded my bathroom on two different events (after their crew had left the job), damaging a brand new 60"" double sink vanity. Didn't even take the time to install shut offs on the new Pex lines they had ran so water was shut off to my house for 2 days on the first even, then 3 days on the second event. They blamed it on the employee was new and forgot to tighten some of the water lines. Somehow a brand new in the box shower arm mysteriously "" came up missing "" when not one but 4 close friends ( family members) witnessed the arm in their possession but when I called them out on it they said it was never in the box of new fittings they were to install ( Total BS). But wait theirs more, oh so much more. After ordering the new shower arm and inspecting the rest of their work, finding that my $2200 shower assembly was dangling on the wall, the hand shower falling to the floor cracking my new marble due to failure to tighten the arm properly. I had decided at that point I really wanted to speak to who was the one actually responsible for this company. After calling their office in Indian River I asked kindly to speak with the owner of their company. I was told he was not in the office but I may leave my number and he will get back with me. I explained it was somewhat of an urgent matter and asked that she please relate my message at their very earliest convenience. After an additional 3-4 calls to their offices over the course of a week, I was quite irritated that the owner of their company "" Scott "" didn't even have the decency to return a phone call. I then asked for Scott's number so I could reach out to him directly and I was advised "" this is not allowed "" ( RED LIGHT). After another 3-4 days went by I received a call from Scott, I explained the situation in its entirety, he brushed it off like it was no big deal and he wanted to come by the next day to have a look at it himself. So I took the following day off work hoping to resolve this issue with the owner himself. I never heard from Scott that next morning, in fact I didn't receive a call from Scott until 3 days later, telling me how he was busy and would like to still come out. That was my last straw at that point and no longer wanted their company in my home. A complete nightmare from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and check reviews on YELP and other review sites. These Google reviews are personal friends of these idiots and are total nonsense. Ask around about M&M plumbing and heating, scary the stories I have heard since my experience with them. (UPDATE AS PER JAN 27th, 2019 ( My entire basement flooded with 3"" inches of water, the connection they made on the shower valve came completely off when we were out shopping, all glass subway tile has to come off the wall now for repair, 70% of our new flooring ruined, my 2 year old son's bedroom completed flooded. Called M&M to tell them their shower valve work completely failed after 5 months and their exact word "" That sounds like a YOU problem"". Incredible ! ! !

Zero stars. Had an emergency situation, broken waterline, over a foot of water in the basement. City came and shut the water off, electricity was still on. Called M&M, said they'd come out. Waited 2 hours, called back clarifying when, said he'd have the boss call when he got back. By this time it was after hours and I left messages with other businesses. Called again in the AM and was told the boss would call back. Could have had someone come today and get the job done while waiting for the damn boss to call back. Still haven't heard back from him. Thanks to Fahrner for bumping us up. M&M you suck

I've used M&M three times now. I had them come out based on a flyer they sent me for an AC tuneup. Tim was very professional and courteous, and suggested a part replacement that was clearly needed.

More recently I had a no heat situation and our backup furnace was also not working. They squeezed me in same day, and Tim came again. He helped me troubleshoot and was able to dive in and swap a spare system I had in place along with Jeff who stopped to help with the job. They quickly got both systems up and running. I was once again impressed with their professional and courteous service.

Could not fix my boiler, charged me a fortune and then told me it would take another 3500$. They were never able to diagnose the problem, just wanted to replace parts. Called another plumber in Alanson, fixed the problem for a few hundred bucks.

I will start off by saying I gave one star only because It won't let me give zero. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Unless you don't mind throwing your money away. I have hired M&M a few times and each time had to dispute the bill for overcharge of labor. This last time I had a job that involved approximately 16' of pipe run along the outside of the house from the natural gas meter to a generator. The guy was here almost an hour and a half, ran the pipe which he secured to the house in only one spot which is very inadequate and leaves the pipe able to move around quite freely. (I also had to let him use my tapcons because he didn't bring any) I was later informed that the job done does not meat code and they should have gotten a permit which they did not do. They tried to charge me for 3.5 hours of labor and when I called I was informed that they charge for drive time and time for loading and unloading the van for the job and I could not get a straight answer as to the break down of how long each took. I was told the service tech put in for 3 hours of labor and could get no explanation of where the extra half hour came from. I was treated rudely which I guess isn't surprising that people who will try to rip off their customers would also be unfriendly. I will never hire these people again and hope this review helps others. Word of advice, if you do hire them, make sure you are home to keep track of the hours.
