Mike has come to fix several things in our rental house. He is prompt to respond to correspondence, very flexible with his schedule, and wicked fast with the work he does. He has replaced our hot water heater (from start to finish, including supply runs, it took him 2.5 hours), he's replaced our rental house's main shut off valve in about an hour, and he replaced a kitchen faucet in less than an hour. He has taken initiative interfacing with our landlord and has never treated us any differently being renters than if we were homeowners. Mike is a great plumber, and is absolutely the only plumber we'll be calling in the future. MJW is the best way to go - steer clear of the chain plumbing companies and get the best service from MJW!

Mike does a great job! Mike got right back to me via Yelp, asked for some pictures and gave me an estimate and I scheduled an appointment there and then.
Mike was very communicative, and gave me the option of buying my own parts.
Mike is friendly, polite, and does great work at reasonable price. He replaced two faucets and a shower valve core, in our home.

I'm still in process of finding the right person to fix a plumbing issue at our home, but I wanted to leave a positive review about MJW and their use of the Yelp quote platform.

Mike got back to me in short order and gave me a straight assessment of my situation based off the pictures I sent. This is exactly the type of response that I would be looking for out of the Yelp price quote system (versus others that just said to call them, and then the person taking the call had no clue what I sent/wrote about my issue)

So Yelp threw me a curveball when I went to submit a request for a quote for some plumbing work. What I didn't realize was that Yelp would randomly send out multiple requests (what?) ...

That being said, Michael called me back about 10 mins later (lightning fast!) He was extremely polite and professional, and I would have made an appointment except it was only after we'd had a great conversation that he found out I was in the Maryland side.

Will definitely refer him to my VA friends!

Mike is awesome. He responded to my initial request within 30 minutes and was available to come out quickly. We had some noisy pipes and with prior bursts, wanted to make sure everything looked good. Mike identified that the noise was from high water pressure, likely from a failed pressure release valve. Once replaced, we no longer had issues. Will definitely be giving Mike a call for future plumbing issues!
