Responsive, communicative, personal, up-front and well-priced service. Called at 8:30pm, he called back immediately, requested pictures of my problem, diagnosed a solution over the phone, gave me a quote that was totally in-line with my expectation and repaired the issue the next day. Consulted on a couple of other questions I had and offered home-owner solutions. No up-sells. A great plumber is a real find. Highly recommend.

These men very literally skipped dinner at home to come replace my water heater and for a price less than the other quotes I received for the same job.

The whole thing decided to give up the ghost on a Monday, because of course it did, and they threw caution to the wind and showed up after I got out of work Tuesday [later than anyone usually makes appointments] despite having a suspicion that the job would be a tricky one. After much careful wiggling, rerigging, rewiring, and replumbing, they got everything installed, cleaned out my air conditioner condenser for free and had the foresight to test and replace a few other worn parts to prevent problems later down the road. Both of them were careful to involve me in the entire process so I understood what was going on and could see what needed fixing with my own eyes instead of just being handed charges fait accompli and so I know how to check problem areas in the future.

While I, of course, hope not to -need- them again, they're the top of my list to call if I ever do.

Mike is the best plumber, hands down. We recently moved into a very nice home and were completely surprised on Sunday evening when our kitchen sink U-joint suddenly started leaking whenever we used the sink. Water was gushing on the floor for no apparent reason, and had we run the dishwasher, we would have been flooded. I placed a Yelp post for emergency service with 4-5 local plumbers, and Mike was the only one who called me right away. He even asked me to text him a photo of the U-joint and within two minutes, he had diagnosed the problem, quoting me a price and agreeing to come and see me the next day. Mike showed up right when he said he would and fixed our problem in no time while providing us with great advice on how to keep our sink drain pipe as clear as possible. Mike was extremely polite, personable and his price was exactly what he quoted -- which was very reasonable. I will be calling Mike for all of our plumbing needs!

Short Version:
Mike is AWESOME. You should hire him for whatever plumbing issue(s) you may be having.

Longer Version:
After searching for a couple of weeks for a reputable plumber that would 1) Do work in an HOA, 2) work with someone (me) from across the country and 3) get the job done quickly - I found MJW Plumbing on yelp and decided to give them a try.

He took my call and after explaining (as best I could from 2500 miles away) what I understood the problem to be - Mike was happy to coordinate with the folks renting the unit directly and went out on a SUNDAY to take a look. Within an hour of him getting to the unit I had a phone call, a series of pictures, an estimate and a planned install date.

In a era where customer service tends to be an after thought - at best - Mike and his company are a model for what service companies should strive to be. Truly worth every penny paid.

I would recommend Mike to anyone who needs a plumber. We had an emergency issue and within minutes we were able to get ahold of him and get a fair and honest quote.
