I wish to give 5 stars to Brian Jones and MJ Frick Company for repairing my leaky 2.5 and 4.0 ton air conditioning units at my home in Nashville. I had requested quotes from several HVAC vendors for fixing my 10 year old systems and Brian's quote was almost half the cost of the other vendor's quotes. Please understand this all took place, including the repairs, back in May of this year and I have waited for the really hot weather to test my systems before I wrote a review. And they are working great! I couldn't be happier. So I highly recommend MJ Frick for your HVAC needs.

Unfortunately we had a pipe burst at 5pm on Christmas Eve. Although understandably they could not come out on Christmas Day they were out first thing the next day and quickly located the burst pipe, repaired it and insulated the pipes to ensure we had no further problems. They were professional, courteous and respectful and i unequivocally recommend them

For the past several years we've depended on MJ Frick for semi-annual maintenance visits to keep our a/c and heat working. They do a great job each time at a very reasonable price. The best part is that, when we need a service call, we get prompt service at a discounted price. Most recently, their service pro (Lemont) diagnosed and resolved a very tricky, intermittent problem with our 2-zone a/c unit. In no time he had it up and running even better than new. Highly recommended if you're ever in need of HVAC help.

Had our annual A/C system service today with MJFrick and as always they were professional, polite and on time. Their evaluations are thorough and assure that our system is in the best working condition. We have been with MJFrick for 4 years now and are very happy with their service. We have maintenance contracts with them for HVAC, hot water heater and dryer venting systems. We highly recommend MJFrick !!!

We have never had a problem with MJ Frick and we still don't. We just think that yesterdays visit was very shady. They came out to do a Spring AC and Water Heater Service ($275). The tech claims he found a capacitor that ""could"" be going bad. He took the part off to show us, then said to put a new one back on is $82.00. The new part was free with our warranty (had to tell the tech that). The tech was going to have to put a part on one way or the other (either the old part or a new part), but just to put the new part on, MJ Frick charged us $82.00. We called to confirm that the charge wasn't for the part itself and they simply replied back, no it is for putting the new part on. That to me is not good customer service or good business.

I love companies that actually show up and do what you hope they will... one would think that's a given but we all know it's not.
They are always fast to respond, they keep you updated both thru texts and emails. I have had both Mr Lamont and Ian come here to help me with AC and they both are great!
They have super friendly staff answering the phone as well, highly recommend!

The worst HVAC company in Nashville. They are scam artists. They have these guys that they refer to as ""The Russians"" that do their installations. They didn't install my unit properly and didn't do anything to resolve the issues it was having. Their service plan is a joke; one technician required my assistance to clean the coils on the condenser. They also will purposely tamper with your equipment during a service call so that you will soon require another service call shortly thereafter to scam people out of more money. Do yourself a favor and use a reputable company.

Unprofessional, unreliable, and untrustworthy about sums it up.

They installed the hvac unit in our new build home. It has had issues due to improper install (they admitted this) from the start. They refuse to wave fees or lower prices even though the issues were caused by them. Then when they get sick of coming out repeatedly, they start making up issues to bill you for. Thankfully I called another company that verified that we did not indeed need to spend 2k to fix a nonexistent problem.

We had an HVAC/heater issue two days before a cold Thanksgiving. That's usually the time most companies are super busy, and staffed lightly! We called MJ Frick's after hours number (well after midnight) and they called us back early AM, promising to send someone over by the end of the day. Their technician, Mike, showed up earlier than promised and worked hard and long to troubleshoot the intermittent issue with our heater. The problem being intermittent was very difficult to pinpoint and get to root cause. Mike was very knowledgeable and experienced. He trusted his judgment and changed a pressure switch in the unit. The unit started to work, but due to the intermittent nature of the issue we were worried it could stop working again over Thanksgiving. To put our mind at ease, Mike gave us his phone number and offered to come back anytime over Thanksgiving to fix the unit if it stopped working again. The unit has been working well and we are very happy (and warm). Considering the prompt response this company gave our urgent problem, Mike's experience and going above and beyond for us, we strongly recommend Mike and his company for any heating/cooling (and plumbing) maintenance and other services! Thank you, Mike, for making our Thanksgiving, and for being so pleasant and helpful to your customers. Thank you also everyone at MJ Frick, for being the best!
