We started our exploration in 1998 with the Wellness Filter, that offered remarkable water quality. Since then, we have delved into the realms of water, filtration, conditioning, and the health implications of having clean, living water in our lives.

In 1973, my roommate Rick opened my eyes to the importance of healthy nutrition, which included recognizing the vital role of water in our lives. As someone who loves the outdoors, I have always embraced nature through surfing, skiing, hiking, and biking; nutrition and hydration are critical.

In 1998, I was introduced to The Wellness Filter; prior to that, I thought all filters were pretty much alike. The descriptions provided by Wellness regarding their filter sounded too good to be true, and I was curious to discover how and why it functioned so efficiently. Over the past 14 years, I have dedicated myself to studying water, filtration, media, conditioning, hydration, chemistry, and the essential role water has on our planet and the life it nurtures. Water ranks just behind the air we breathe; you can last for weeks without food, but barely a week without water.
