In 1973, a friend named Rick guided me toward the value of healthy nutrition, which helped me understand the essential role water plays in our lives. As an outdoor enthusiast, I have always felt a connection to nature through activities like surfing, skiing, hiking, and biking; nutrition and hydration are paramount.

In 1998, I was introduced to The Wellness Filter; before that, I assumed all filters functioned similarly. The descriptions provided by Wellness regarding their filter sounded too good to be true, and I was curious to discover how and why it functioned so efficiently. In the past 14 years, I have committed myself to exploring water, filtration, media, conditioning, hydration, chemistry, and the essential role water has on our planet and the life it nurtures.
