We started our exploration in 1998 with the Wellness Filter, which delivered exceptional water quality. Since that time, we have dedicated ourselves to understanding water, filtration, conditioning, and the health benefits of clean, living water in our daily lives.

In 1973, my roommate Rick opened my eyes to the importance of healthy nutrition, which helped me understand the essential role water plays in our lives. Being an outdoor enthusiast, I have always been in tune with nature through surfing, skiing, hiking, and biking; proper nutrition and hydration are essential.

In 1998, I came across The Wellness Filter; prior to that, I thought all filters were pretty much alike. The claims made by Wellness about their filter seemed almost unbelievable, and I was eager to learn how and why it performed so effectively. For the last 14 years, I have focused on researching water, filtration, media, conditioning, hydration, chemistry, and the essential role water has on our planet and the life it nurtures. Water is only surpassed by the air we inhale; you can go weeks without food, but only about a week without water.
