This is the third job that Mitch Duncan Plumbing has done for me. The first two were broken pipes under the slab. Both were fixed quickly, professionally and reasonably priced. Mitch and his staff are courteous and professional. Mitch came out personally to see the jobs in all cases. Jimmy and James (two different guys) really know their stuff along with the other workers employed there. Most of them have been with the company for many years, unusual for plumbing companies. This week, I had my Rinnai instant hot water heater go bad. It was 14 years old and gave me good service. I called another company, an """"authorized Rinnai dealer"""" to repair or replace it. They came out quickly and """"assessed"""" the problem calling tech support from Rinnai. Basically, they told me it was broken. Duh. That will be $105, please. They were supposed to get back with me the next day with a quote for the repair and and quote for replacement. Nothing. The following day I called, still nothing. No hot water all this time. Tired of waiting, I called Mitch, which I should have done in the first place. He came out immediately, ordered a new unit and I told him that I would go pick it up myself to expedite the situation, which I did on the same day. The next day, James came out, removed the old unit and completely repiped the new unit and made it more easily accessible for flushing the unit, when necessary. Within 2 hours - hot water at a reasonable price! I can't say enough good things about Mitch and his team. You will find no better. By the way, I still haven't gotten the quote from the other company.

I would never hire this firm. A few of their employees go to the Baptist Temple on first Street in Ocala Florida. The Speed down the street in work trucks and make fun of people near the Homeless Shelter. One employee is a Spanish Middle aged man who drove the employee truck to the Baptist Temple frequently. One day I was walking my cat, he proceeds to save me down and shake his genitals saying he's weppa. I look up the definition, it means awesome in Spanish.....I was horrified. I wouldn't let these men neary cat. I was a landlord 25 years in NJ....next please. OMG.

My husband and I felt grossly taken advantage of by this company. We requested a price for a new kitchen sink, faucet and garbage disposal. They came out and said they weren't busy and could take care of this immediately. We were not offered a choice of sinks. We were told we should get a Kohler faucet and they cost $200 plus. We were shown a picture on a telephone of one faucet. Since we know nothing about plumbing or products we trusted the information we were given. We paid $800. The actual work was satisfactory but we clearly felt taken advantage of. We learned a valuable lesson - in the future, we will not trust even a recommended vendor. We will never use this company again.
