Mark is the best at snaking lines. I am a general contractor. When I know it is going to be a tuff one, I call Mitt plumbing. They have never let me down.

This business needs to be reported to Better Business bureau and will do!! First off the older man who came to my home for a simple leak from the hose connected indoors to my washer was completely changed out wrong!! The first day he came he changed out a couplet and reconnected the hose with out ever testing out to make sure the leak was gone. He was sloppy in his work and rushed for time. Hg e immediately finished with in 15 mins time, and changed me over 100.00 dollars for service and part. I was in shock at price and let him know I could pay 60.00 and top please bill the 40.00 difference. He agreed and left. Upon leaving I decided to wash some laundry.I proceeded and turned on washer only too see the problem still existed!! The leak was not fixed and I now had a bill for work that was not properly done!! Immediately I called him with in 30 mins or so of him leaving and he was unable to come back out to fix. The next morning early with out warning he showed up banging loud on my door, waking everyone in my house hold up!!Half asleep,I had no choice but to let him in too attempt again to fix the leak from washer.I let him know I was unaware he was coming and was asleep. He was unapologetic and showed no concern for his inconvenience or for the day before mistake of not fixing leak.I walked out of wash room assuming he was going to correct his mistake. With in 10 mins I heard a loud banging and water flow, I opened door to my wash room and the Plumber had somehow caused a huge streaming flow of water to burst out of hose and could not get it to turn off for at least 5 mins.He continued to say ""I can't get it to shut off"" after tightening it so tight as if he stripped it,it shut off. With out any apology or concern again for all the water damage he did, not only to all my clean clothes hanging, but too my flooring which he flooded!! He also never made any attempt to clean up his mess!! I am appalled at his unprofessionalism and his uncaring behavior towards a paying customer!! Word of mouth,The Better Business bureau,Yelp, Angies list, etc go a long way and inflict the opinion of others choices.Customers need to know that this business has nasty unprofessional employees who claim to know what they're doing, and have no clue of what they're doing!! They need to go out of business!!

MIT was recommended to me by the office in the senior mobile home park where I live. The first man came out to fix the leak over the bathtub. He said he would have to order a part. I asked him to install the new kitchen faucet that I had bought. I was going to throw out the old faucet, but he asked if he could have it; he is able to buy his daughter's college books with the recycle items. When he was going to leave I saw he put the 2-foot copper tubing in the box he was taking with him. I couldn't remember what it was under the sink for and didn't say anything. Later I remembered it was connected to the water line going to the refrigerator to make a longer line. I finally got him on the phone the next day and he said he didn't remember the copper tubing. I reminded him of it when he called later to say the part needed for the leak didn't come in. I called the office to complain that he stole the copper pipe, which had nothing to do with the repair he was working on. The office lady was very nice, said they let the plumber have all the left-over stuff and they would take care of it.
A different man was sent here. He said they couldn't get the part for the leaky faucet, but he would fix it. He drilled into the handle part for a long time. It didn't leak when he left, but soon started leaking again from the end of the faucet and also by the wall.
He told me Jay said he didn't take the copper tubing and stared at me for a long time like I was telling a lie. I told him Jay was lying and I will NEVER call MIT again, first because they do bad work and didn't fix the problem I hired them to fix, and secondly because their employees steal from seniors and then lie about it.

We've got rentals in the Merced area and have employed MIT many times over the course of the last 7 or 8 years. They've become unreliable or done a poor job on several occasions in the last year and we've changed plumbers

This company has been to my house 7 times to replace my hot water heater. It is still leaking And not producing much hot water. When I question him why he hasn't replaced it yet... He got very defensive on the phone and told me it wasn't a big deal. So I suggested that an exploding hot water heater wasn't a big deal? He laughed and said hot water heaters CAN NOT explode.
Do not call these people they don't even have a basic understanding that hot water heaters CAN in fact explode, and have killed people before. That's just idiocy there. Thanks and god bless

They fixed my shower problem quickly and efficiently. Pricing was great and I would use them again in the future!

I've used them at least 5 times. FAST, no nonsense, will not try and bilk you out of your money. Definitely reliable. Very Happy!

This was THE WORST experience I ever had with a service provider. It was to put an ""access"" door inside a closet so they could get to the plumbing in the wall and change the shower head and handles. It was a NIGHTMARE and took them three days to install the stuff incorrectly and give me a bunch of crap about the brand I bought, the need for another $150 worth of charges, etc.
Three days later I had a shower head that trickled, no door on the hole in the wall and a bill for $400. The owner was not returning my calls. Finally, he answered the phone, ranted at me saying everything was my fault, not his employees' fault - that they knew what they were doing. He was really ticked off and I could tell. He came straight over to my house and was SO DRUNK (he smelled). The fix was 5-10 minutes, I wrote him a check, and told him I wished he had come over three days earlier to fix this instead of letting the two clueless guys futz around this whole time.
I have no confidence in this company, its trustworthiness, or credibility. Beware and be afraid.
