I had a major problem with my hot water heater I got a hold of Mr Plumber and they had someone out there faster than I ever could expect. Kory installed my hot water heater he was very polite and did a thorough job I would definitely recommend Mr Plumber for all your plumbing needs.

Worthless.

Made no attempt to repair the two main issues I was having, but made plenty of excuses as to why he couldn't or wouldn't. Clearly his goal was to get in and out as quickly as possible and to do as little as possible. I guess that's how they make their money. They were assigned to my job by my home warranty company, American Home Shield, and it has become apparent that their business model is based on poor service.

The cold water in my bathtub flows at about half the pressure of the hot water even though every other faucet in the house the cold water runs fine. He said this was probably because ""New Orleans water is bad"" and there was probably some blockage somewhere in the line but if he cleared it out it would just block right up again. What? That makes no sense. If there's blockage, then fix it! I'm thinking that the valve stem probably needs to be replaced, but when I mentioned this to him he balked and got defensive and mocking in tone and was unwilling to even look to see if that could be the issue. In the end, he did absolutely nothing. My cold water still has low flow in the bathtub. Thanks for nothing!

The 2nd issue: The stopper in my bathroom sink is not functional. The part at the top that makes the stopper plunge up and down doesn't move anymore due to corrosion. I asked him to get it working and maybe replace it with a functional fixture and he said that it ""isn't a plumbing issue."" Are you serious? Is this backwards day? His genius solution was just to pull the stopper out. Thank goodness I got a professional out.

The only other thing he actually did was pull a little bit of hairy gunk out of the sink. Was that hairball worth my $100? No, it was not. On the paperwork he wrote that he pulled out the hairball ""as a courtesy."" It's not a courtesy, it's your job! I still have the same plumbing issues as before he came and I'm now short $100. That was an expensive hairball.

And on top of all of this, this wasn't even the first time a guy from Mr Plumber came out about these issues. Another guy came out a few weeks prior and didn't address any of my main issues then rushed out to another job. I then had to sit on the phone for an hour waiting to try to talk to someone in India for American Home Shield to get Mr plumber back out. Clearly poor customer service is an integral part of their business model. The home warranty company makes it nearly impossible to actually get anything repaired so that in the end they make money, Mr plumber makes money, and I lose money and am left with the same plumbing problems I started with.

Run far away! This company is a joke. Because they contract 99% with home warranty companies, and they could care less about quality of service and customer service. I have been waiting 2 weeks for a water heater replacement and they claim to not know who the supplier is. Meanwhile I have had no hot water in my home. I have told American Home Shield not to send them out because I have had problems with them through other warranty companies, but they keep sending them anyway. I will not be renewing my contract with them for this very reason. How can warranty company not see the low rating and negative reviews? I'm through! I'm done! Never again for both AHS and Mister Plumber!

I stumbled upon Mister Plumber through my Home Warranty company. They were sent to my house to fix a plumbing stoppage that was taking a toll on all of my water sources. Joel, the technician, was knowledgeable and kind but was pulled off the job halfway through because the owner told him he had to move on. The job was left unfinished. The washing machine was leaking. The kitchen sink and dishwasher were unusable. Both kitchen appliances were working prior to the call. The owner, Dave, was condescending and quick to snap each time I spoke to him about trying to fix the remaining issues. Finally on our last call he called me ignorant and said I didn't know what I was talking about. He told me he couldn't talk with me about the issue anymore and hung up on me. Extremely poor customer service (and human decency). If I acted that way at work, I would have been fired. They left the job worse than how it started and Dave was a royal jerk in the process. I will never use them again.

This is literally the worst company ever. They deserve no stars. Please please please don't ever use them. They will come out, assess the situation, give an opinion and say they have to leave but that Lauren from the office will call you. They will never call you. You will call and be given the run around. Lauren will lie to you on the phone. When you get frustrated, she will proclaim ""this is a family business"" (this is a horrible family if that's true). If you have a home warranty they will then tell your home warranty that the damage was done by a rodent and won't be covered. I wonder if they even have a master plumber because it seems they are incapable of making repairs. Please use anyone else. These are bad people.

Horrible Customer Service response. AHS assigned this company to come out and perform a service repair on Monday, December 6, 2021...The technician ever arrived and when I called the office I was told the appointment was being postponed until Tuesday, December 7, 2021 due to the tech caught in traffic, well my home was not serviced on Tuesday, the 7th and when I called the office they were closed. I called the office on Wednesday, morning and was told by a rep at Mister Plumber that they can send someone out on Friday. Please do not trust this company and I will share my complaint with American Home Shield.

If It were possible to give this company less than a star in order to post a review I would. Let the Consumer beware. Do not use this company. Everyone is unprofessional from the office staff to the field. This is another incident where this company was contracted by my home warranty company. I called my warranty company because there's a problem with the toilet. It was obviously backing up. Man came out looked at the toilet then claimed he had to go outside to talk with the office. He comes back in after talking to the office and tells me that this service is not covered by my home warranty, they don't cover a partial stoppage only a complete stoppage of the toilet. So I am supposed to wait until the toilet floods my bathroom to request service??? Then he tells me that they can run an auger 6 feet for an additional $45. So my son, who is desperate to get the toilet unclogged because it's causing a terrible odor in the house, gives them another $45 cash. The guy turns off the water, brings the auger and tries to route out the toilet. You know you're not gonna route out a toilet with 6 feet of line.
I got on the phone with the warranty company and they said that I was not to give the plumbing company anymore money. In the meantime the so-called plumber is telling my son that they will need another $80 to pick the toilet up and route it out with the router. That would make the total call, $225 just to route out a toilet WHICH THEY'VE TOLD MY WARRANTY COMPANY IS NOT CLOGGED! Now if the toilet is not stopped up as they claimed,why would I be pay $225.00. to unstop it? I told my son not to pay the $80 because a stoppage IS covered by my warranty then my son tells me they left and didn't even turn the water back on. So they made $145 in about 15 minutes and didn't do anything including not giving my son a receipt for the $45 extra he paid! When I called back and explained that service man left without giving us a receipt and without even turning the water back on, the receptionist said that they were gone for the day and that I would hear from them tomorrow. I asked to speak with a manager and she claimed the manager was gone. I asked the managers name and that's when she started saying ""hello hello I can't hear you you're breaking up."" I called back and she did the same thing. This is outrageous in the time of this pandemic that a company would conduct itself in this manner. This review is completely true and I just wish the owner would get on this website and try to defend this horrible service. I guess that's why he has such terrible reviews and I will never again use any company without reading the Yelp reviews first!

After seeing the Yelp reviews, I debated calling my home warranty company to switch companies; however, I was optimistic. I received a call to schedule an appointment shortly after Mister Plumber opened. They arrived on time and wore face masks (very important to me during this time of COVID-19). The problem was quickly diagnosed and resolved. They were friendly and professional. I am happy I stayed optimistic!
