I can't recommend Ted highly enough. I was having a locking issue with a Marvin French door that I couldn't figure out on my own. Ted was super responsive and promptly set up an appointment quickly to address my issue. When he came by he fixed my problem in under an hour and I found his rates to be very reasonable. While he was fixing the locking issue he explained to me what was going wrong and also installed a new locking cylinder for me. Ted will be my first call with issues like this in the future.

Ted just left after spending two days tackling a long list of tasks: installing a new light high up in a stairwell; installing a kitchen light which required installing a junction box; installing earthquake straps; patching holes in two ceilings; tiling a hearth; moving a shelf; installing towel bars.

All of it was done efficiently AND with great care AND with transparent and fair pricing and patience toward me and my very nosy dog.

Ted was fantastic! We really love the work that he did for us, top notch. We had several issues that seemed insurmountable with our home. We live in a Queen Anne Victorian, with very specific ornate elements. We had severe dry rot on one of window frames and on our stairs. Part of the issues was that a previous handyman had botched the job. They left it worse off. Ted came in very professional and knew exactly how to tackle both jobs. He had connections to a company that built these specific frames, had them reproduce the frame to the specific original details. Ted came back installed the new frame and then worked on our stairs replacing the dry rot are and making it look like it's original state. Ted is a true craftsman, very professional, very honest and upfront with his prices. We highly recommend Ted, he is the best!
