Hired Mission to replace a toilet supply line after checking online reviews of plumbers in the area. They seemed competent and reasonably priced. One of those was correct. They responded promptly, arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, and performed the necessary repair. 45 minutes later everything was fixed and was handed a bill for $289.00; 200 for the repair and 89 for the trip charge which to be fair I was aware of in advance. (Hey wouldn't we all like to get paid that kind of money to drive to work.) I understand they can t drive all over the city giving estimates for free but shouldn't this apply to the cost of repairs should you contract for the job?

After speaking with the manager, he agreed to apply a $30 credit for an online coupon. Whereas this was helpful it didn't address the issue of charging over $200/hr. (I priced out the part and it was less than $25.00 retail and readily available at any hardware store)

A friend has subsequently recommended a self-employed plumber with low overhead and much more reasonable pricing structure who I will be using for future needs.

1. Tech sent out put thermal couple incorrectly as the pilot light did not reignite. Charged us for cleaning that was done in the hour already billed but then billed out a separate charge for it.
2. Sat in truck outside property for 30 minutes and billed us for that time. We had already signed any necessary paperwork so additional paperwork was not needed. The manager we spoke to also approved this fraudulent practice.

They have serviced my A/C, my heater, and my water heater. They are always easy to communicate with. They are prompt, have great manners, work efficiently, and perform excellent differential diagnoses on what they're working on. Sorry for that medical terminology! They will answer questions while they're working, talk about what they're working on and potential causes and ways to prevent problems in the future. They'll even answer questions only somewhat related to what you called them out for. The pricing is right and you will know what your costs will be before they begin repairs. I hope to use them less in the future, but you never know!

So disappointed in this place. I tried to email them to make it right but I got no response. I have also never written a bad review ever! We put our trust in them during a difficult time and I feel like they could have completely robbed us if given the chance. Such a shame because I love local Shawnee businesses. This unfortunately is not one of them. Or at least, not one that can be trusted.

When our air conditioning went out in the hottest part of the summer, we were thankful to find Mission PH&C online. We called in the evening and we were able to get right through to talk with someone on the phone. As stated on their website, they offer fast 24 hour service including the ability to send someone out to us same night. The individual answering the phone and making the reminder/scheduling phone calls was very pleasant and patient. The representatives that came out to assess our HVAC were professional, polite, and easy to work with. Overall, we were very satisfied with the responsiveness of this business and the quality of the service we received.

$589 to swap out an undercounter ice maker. To plug in the cord (a regular outlet plug), hook up a drain hose (existing), and connect a water tube (existing). Literally a 10 minute job. I wish someone had let me know this by a review before I wasted the service fee of $89 to show up.

The entire experience with Mission was great. It was less than a week from the time I called to get a quote and when the entire HVAC and water heater were installed. We have a 100+ year old carriage house which can be a challenge. Chad came out before the install to check the job which was a very good idea. Rob and Chad then showed up by 8 and worked until around 6 to get all the work done. They cleaned up and made sure I knew where all the shut of valves and switches are. Chad also made sure I knew how to work the new thermostat and offered to set up the programming. Great service and great price

Kyle G. & Branden arrived and were very polite, professional and knowledgeable. Went right to work and explained the issues and how to resolve the problem. They fixed the problem temporarily, but suggested that I replace the old (25 years) furnace. Will be doing that in the next few days. More money now, but will benefit when we sell the house in a few years.

Mike showed up to my house when he was scheduled. He did a great job of finding the source of my water leak. Because of him taking the time to look hard it saved me money and not having to cut into my ceiling. Great job.

We were tasked in finding a few plumbers to install a sump pump and fix our backup valve issues from getting water in the basement. Out of the 4 professional's to come quote and look at what was needed, we quickly realized there was no better choice in the city to have do the jobs. Mr. Eddie Cone did the inspection and he over saw the construction. He was super helpful and beyond informative in what his years of knowledge had to offer. He was able to see and find issues the last owners missed as well as what the other plumbers neglected to see.

We have a wash sink that was completely built wrong and they cleaned and fixed how it operated. Doing so they needed to move the main line over 3 feet whiched helps the overall flow in the pipe consistently. The back up was needing to be installed into one of the bedrooms. But the guys made sure it wouldn't be an eye sore with the finished outcome.

The guys kept their work clean and were respectful of what mess they might make. They made sure we knew what was going on 100% of the time as they worked and done things in a way to make sure we where not inconvenienced by the work being completed.

We were very pleased with their work and professionalism the 3 gentleman displayed exactly what is missed nowadays and we would definitely recommend Mr. Eddie Cone's to anyone needing help.
