I have lived in Oceanside for close to 30 years and have always tried to work with people and businesses that reside in my area. I hired Mission Coast Plumbing because I suspected a leak since my water bill was so high. Edgar came out to asses the situation. He found the leak coming from the piping connected to the water heater. Edgar walked me thru the process to repair it.
He was very detailed in explaining what needed to be done. Two days later Edgar and his assistant arrived around 8 a.m. The process involved rerouting the hot water from the damaged pipe into another pipe which he would run thru the attic. The whole process took close to 6 hours. His partner, Augie,
arrived later to put the finishing touches on the job. I highly recommend this company. They did an excellent job and left my home just about spotless.

I am a licensed painting contractor, I've been in business for myself since 1995, and for 16 years before that I worked for my father, who owned his own painting company. Having been in the trades for 45 years, I know my way around most Skill sets, I do occasionally dabble in remodels for friends, I was doing a remodel on a condo in Solana Beach looking down at the Delmar race track and I'd had three plumbers out, the first one was my regular guy. But he is 66 and on the verge of retiring, so he informed me that I should probably find another plumber. The other two guys did not have insurance for condominiums/townhomes which I guess is different from just a regular residential home. Augie showed up here one morning at Seaturf to do some work for the HOA, so I asked him if he was interested in taking a look at my remodel and if he could do the plumbing. He ended up doing the work, and I've seen a lot of plumbers over the years. These guys are so good I was blown away. He made several suggestions for the laundry room that made sense, and ended up pleasing the customer to no end. Sometimes it's the little things, I double checked his work before I resealed the open wall with drywall And everything was done properly not just properly but in a neat and orderly fashion. This happened over a period of two weeks because we had to make some decisions and he had to have an opening in his schedule, but when he said he was going to show up, he showed up. When he said he was going to call, he called, he takes care of business and he does it in a superb fashion. I have a new plumber and I'm very happy about it, as you know plumbers are not inexpensive, but he was fair in his pricing, which I appreciated. I absolutely recommend Mission Coast plumbing, you will not be disappointed.

We have had the great enjoyment of working with Edgar from Mission Coast Plumbing for several years. He is so knowledgeable, so definitely enjoys his profession, and shares intelligence on how to keep plumbing in good condition. Offers alternatives to more expensive fixes, understanding the state of everyone's budget during these times. This is not to say Edgar compromises on quality, on products or cuts corners -- he just knows his business so well he goes for what is best for the customer, rather than what is easiest. I have used Mission Coast Plumbing for a number of years (in two different homes that I've owned) for different issues from burst pipe problems to maintenance on my tankless water heater and they have never let me down. Augie, the owner is the best. He's so knowledgeable, kind, professional, responsive when I call and his prices are beyond reasonable.
I would never call anyone other than Mission Coast Plumbing!

Edgar and his team did a great job of taking care of a leak that was difficult to get to. They communicated every step of the way and made some great referrals when it came to pinpointing the exact location of the leak and removing/replacing existing brick work.

We had a shower leak in the master bathroom. We'd called half a dozen plumbers to come & give estimates. Everyone's quote was over the top. Augie was our last resort. When Augie came we knew we can trust & rely on his skills & experience. (Not to mention his price was unbeatable). Augie put in new supply lines & installed a new shower valve. Augie, Edgar, Cecilia and crew are the best. Small family business. We live in a townhome community and found them because they are the plumber for the HOA. They serve numerous HOAs in the area but also individual homeowners and can do anything from replacing sinks to complete repipes of complexes. We've been using them for years and have nothing but great experiences with them. Super knowledgeable, friendly, on time, do a great job explaining things, priced fairly, etc. Over the years, they've replaced our water heater, water pressure regulator, swapped out all our shut off valves, ice maker box, replaced fixtures, unclogged stubborn blockages, etc. It's hard to know if you're getting someone competent who is pricing you fairly in any business. Augie and team are just that and have been that for us over and over for 10+ years. Very personable to boot! I highly recommend Mission Coast Plumbing.

I wish there were more stars for the consistent perfect customer service and professional work I have received from Mission Coast Plumbing over the years, as well as other family members who only go to Mission Coast Plumbing for any plumbing issues. Augie Cortes is just wonderful, professional, responsive, honest and kind, and is an expert in his profession. I have called other plumbing companies in San Diego who are not half as responsive and caring, and their prices are ridiculously high. You just can't go wrong with Mission Coast Plumbing!! It says on my review I am in San Francisco, but this review is from San Diego.

We had a leaky pedestal sink, that I couldn't wait to get rid of. Edgar came by with the intention of fixing the leaky pipe and we asked if he could change out the pedestal sink with a vanity and different faucet. He didn't hesitate and said it wouldn't be a problem. He gave us great advice on placement and was very clear with instructions on letting the caulking dry. He was friendly, professional, and funny! We highly recommend them and would hire them for any future plumbing issues and/or renovations. Thanks Edgar!
