I had a faucet that I was unable to install (without leaking) after several attempts. So I gave up and contacted Miser Plumbing. Donny quoted me a reasonable price, and then he stuck with that price even though the job ended up being much more complicated than anyone thought and required multiple visits to finish. It's a family business, and I met both father and son. Both were very nice, and I was fully satisfied with the finished job.

Such a breathe of fresh air. Donald called back quickly, texted me when he was coming and did a great, clean job. Had a pipe clog that he fixed and when he left you would never know he was there. Nice guy, too. Highly recommend!

Randy and his son Don are great guys and simply the best at what they do! I can say that after nearly two decades of having had them work on our condominium building and my own unit. They've done it all - water heater and appliance installations, copper pipe pinhole leaks, drain clearing, repiping, shut off valves -- and lots of good advice on how to avoid or fix plumbing problems.

I rarely write Yelp reviews, but I had such a great experience working with Donald that I had to leave him a 5 star review. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. We had a really bad leak coming from our water heater in the middle of the night and it was clear that it needed to be replaced. Our landlord called Donald and I swear he was at our house in less than 20 minutes to take a look. He stopped the leaking for the night and was back first thing in the morning with a new unit which he installed in just a few hours.

Donald is the real deal. Fast, communicative, quality work, trustworthy, down to earth - he even took his shoes off when he came into our house!

As everybody else says, working with Miser was a total pleasure. My go-to company that I've used in the past was apparently sold and the new owners have less-than-stellar Yelp reviews so I looked around here (and on Angie's list) and Miser came up with top marks all around.

I had them replace a hot water heater for me and while here also took care of a slow-draining bathroom sink. The work was done efficiently and it was obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. Nice guy too, on top of it all! Totally recommended.

I had Donald come by to look at replacing a number of old angle stops in a condo I own and install an recessed icemaker box for the refrigerator. All the work was done very well, and although the recessed box became more of a project then anticipated he still finished in the same amount of time and within the quoted price.

Donald was very responsive and did excellent work. I would definitely recommend him for any plumbing jobs.

These guys are the real deal. We had some tree roots blocking our mainline so the whole house was stopped up, it was a nightmare.. I hit up yelp looking for a South Bay plumber and called Miser Plumbing who said they could help us out.
Donald showed up quick and gave us the most affordable options.. Really good advise actually. not some BS sales pitch. Then he proceeded to yank the toilet and rip those roots out. We were back up and running in 45 minutes. After that, he intuitively stopped my toilet from constantly wasting water. Bottom line these guys are affordable, honest, clean and helpful. Just straight up amazing service!

I would highly recommend Miser Plumbing West!

I had a major stoppage in the bathroom so I called one of the bigger companies only to find that their quote was outrageous!!! So I called a friend and she told me to call Miser Plumbing West and ask for Donald. Wow! He actually answered the phone, was very courteous and personable. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. He arrived on time, had a nice truck with all the equipment that he needed to do the job. He explained the situation and what he needed to do and gave me a quote. He worked very hard to resolve my problem and cleaned up after he was finished. He wrote a detailed invoice as to what the problem was and what he did to take care of it. His price was less than half of the the bigger well known company.
I really like supporting the mom and pop businesses in the South Bay.
So the next time you need a plumber, I would definitely give Donald a call.
